Capítulo 35: I'm Perfectly Fine

Sometimes Erevan's chest felt tight when he thought about how he had manipulated Molly's feelings. She only loved him because he had extensively researched how to make that happen. With all the planning he put into it, it would have been next to impossible for her not to fall in love with him. That had been the whole point.

He and Stella had wanted to ensure that she wouldn't give her affection to another human that would disregard it the way that worthless piece of human waste Calvin had. He had accomplished his plan perfectly but gotten more than he bargained for in the process.

He wasn't supposed to feel any sort of human emotions. He was afraid he would lose track of his objective.

His job was repaying the woman that saved him by devoting his entire being to her, whatever she required of him. Enjoying himself happened to be an incidental side effect that he never expected.
