Capítulo 450: Even If I Die Trying

  Maisie never felt as ridiculous as she did carrying around a balled-up pair of socks with an illusion spell cast on it. Witches were rarely found without their familiars so she created a little pocket for it to stick out of on the fronts of her shirts so she didn't have to put it on her shoulder and risk it falling off. 

Damien thought it was hilarious; she noticed him snorting when he saw. Him thinking she was funny was a good thing, right? 

She had realized that he was funny when he wasn't stressed about things over a week ago now. It only made her more drawn to him. She hadn't had much cause for laughter back in the Blackwood coven. 

Maisie was having fun here, despite initially being stressed about having a few nightmares and not being able to find a familiar. As promised, he had showed her some of the good things around Atlanta already when the animal shelters were closed.
