"Mom, you should have seen the fish that I caught." Damon heard their son shout as soon as his mother entered the room.
Damon and Oliver had arrived just a few minutes ago, an hour later than her. Of course, he was aware that his wife left the house.
Moreover, he knew where she had gone. The security that Conway had assigned to her had already reported to him about her whereabouts.
"I am sure you have caught many. I hope you took some pictures." Jules matched their son's enthusiasm as she came closer and hugged him as if they had not seen each other for ages.
Then, his son showed the numerous photos he had taken of the trip and the fish. It was not a big fish, but it was not the size that counted but the idea.
It was seeing the happiness in Oliver's eyes as he bragged about how courageously he fought with the fish. He believed it was the pure joy of spending the day with him.
Advance Happy New Year to everyone.
Thank you again for another year of reading and appreciating my stories.
This year had been both a tragedy and a blessing to me. It was an endless roller coaster ride that brought me up and down.
There were many times that I almost gave up in writing as real life distracted me from creating my stories. But your constant presence, through votes, comments, gifts and more had kept me going. You did not let me give up on something I love to do despite the hardship.
Thank you again.
I hope that this coming year will be much better. And I hope I can create more wonderful stories that we will all enjoy.
And I also pray that all of you will have a happy and productive New Year!
By the way, if you have a spare coin, I hope you can buy my privilege chapter this month. I need eighteen more privilege chapters to qualify for a promotion. If you can buy one or two, I will truly appreciate it.
