The ancient inscription lay at the base of a waterfall cascading twenty-feet from the cavern's only entrance, and although fresh eyes read them for the first time in months, ripples quickly blurred their contents.
The source of the disturbance lay on his back with a broad smile plastered across his beaten face. "I win," Wilhelm announced as he slowly got to his feet.
Ver Dilen looked down at his shattered armor helplessly. "I underestimated you," he sighed.

Random_writer I'm sorry about being late! So hear me out. I was originally planning on a triple upload to surprise you guys and make up for the break, however I realized a 3000 word fight scene (three chapters of meticulously planned fighting) is waaaaaay too long. Usually fights are just a few paragraphs. I'm not even sure I managed to condense it enough in this chapter. So after spending the time to get done with two chapters, I had to then go back and spend even more time to condense them into one. td;lr FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS GOOD AND HOLY FIGHT SCENES ARE COOL BUT CHILL ON THE WORD COUNT!!!! Hope y'all's fourth of July was fun btw. I got sick so had to stay indoors :(
