Baiyi's attention shifted to the kitty plush toy. He wondered if it was this item that had attracted the angel to Lulu. Aegir had a lot of girls, and although they were not as pretty as Lulu, the angel had ordered the young cleric to look for Lulu. Could this have anything to do with the blessing Laeticia clumsily left on that plush toy? Mia had given Lulu the plush toy that sealed her fate; did this not make Mia the real culprit?
"What enchantment did Laeticia make?" Baiyi thought out loud.
"I don't remember. I think it's something to do with making sure someone awake and aware? Or, it could just be an anti-hex," Mia replied.
[1] RIP Mia’s real father, who is STILL alive and well and existing. In memoriam.

I found a painting by Hugo Simberg (1903), where the angel depicted was similar to the one described in WDYSM. The painting’s called “The Wounded Angel,” and you may notice that her feet do not touch the ground, and her eyes are blindfolded. After the battle with Baiyi, Noirciel is basically “the wounded Angel,” so I wonder if there will be similar imageries in future chapters!

Also, Nehemiah? Who that?! It can’t be the War God, right? I mean, my theory is that the War God is a woman — given how much they cared about Baiyi, I think it sufficed to invoke the possibility of “Baiyi’s Harem,” his passive skill that could make beautiful women “can’t help” falling/caring for him. But “Nehemiah” doesn’t sound like a woman’s name, though! Is my theory gonna be jossed? Naw, I am still holding onto it!
