The man remained silent. Despite the darkness, Tara Summer still felt his piercing eyes fixated on her, so hot and intense that she shivered, unconsciously inching even further back, her eyebrows furrowing.

"I said after three days..." Liam Yancey bent over, his body slowly pressing down on hers. His robust arms supported his weight on either side of her, effectively trapping her within the cage of his chest.
