"Darren…" Arielle Watson's eyes were bloodshot, she had been crying for days.
The moment she saw Victor, even without the DNA test, she knew for certain that she was her daughter.
Because she looked so much alike, hardly any different from when she was little, it was easy to see the resemblance to her younger self.
She stepped forward to embrace her, tears once again falling pitter-patter,
Victor stood there with a dazed expression, letting the woman hold her, although she had remembered events from when she was three, her impressions of her mother were limited due to her young age at the time.
She turned her head to stare at her mother's face, a vague memory surfacing in her mind. Arielle had taken good care of herself, and even after more than two decades, aside from slight crow's feet around her eyes, she hadn't changed much.
Victor looked at her, subconsciously knowing she was her mother, yet she didn't make a sound, or rather, couldn't find the words to speak.
