Tonicquill: This reminds me of Gamer. As in the Korean manhwa. The protag starts functioning like a game’s character. He would start seeing the world with stat points, mana bars, etc. When he takes damage, his HP bar will drop, but his body would suffer no lasting damage. When a spike skewered through his chest and went all the way through his back, he barely felt the pain, and his HP bar went down by a tiny chunk. When he extricates himself from it, not even his clothes would show any damage. The new nature of his body shook him a little, but he accepted it with relative ease, thanks to a passive skill “Gamer’s composure” or something like that. Anyway, check it out! Great series.

I think I’m seriously going to cry for Zhou Chun. Firstly, she had been brought into Zhao Youyue’s world as a character card, WITHOUT her 4WD OR her pet dog, both of which she dearly loved, as this chapter has told us. On top of that, she’s going to be sacrificed for Zhao Youyue’s future plans. I’m pretty sure we can all agree now that these character cards have lives and personalities of their own, even if they lie dormant when inactive. She would NOT die in the Anime. She is going to DIE in reality. That’s like, even worse. That tiny glimpse we were all given of her inner voice shows just how innocent and goofy she is. I would really want to keep her card for that precious year, if it was me.
