Escreva uma avaliaçãoThe storyline is very enjoyable! And in particular, the translation quality is surprisingly good! I've read the the original novel in Chinese before, and now after ****** some comparisons to the English version, I really want to take a moment and appreciate the translator's hard work involved with this piece, awesome job!
I'm going to be honest, the MC starts of extremely OP, basically Chuck Norris-tier one-man army, and you can tell from the various scenarios in the first chapter. Also from the first chapter, we can use foreshadowing to predict that the author will be extremely biased towards the MC; Even MC's sisters was spared from death indicating lack of any tragedies in the future and the novel will most likely just be a Stomp-on-NPC type novel. Not sure why the author would come up with such a stupid family evaluation system. Sexist maybe but it certainly dies imply that males should marry as many wives as possible? No Emperor would implement such a retard-level caste system requiring a male heir because guess what? 50% of all births are males which means that 50% of the population are by definition aristocrats and would be entitled land from the government, rent out, and collect taxes from their fiefdom. What about individual contribution? Would you fire your generals because their sons died in battle for the country? Wouldn't this force the sons of generals/commanders/etc to not inherit their fathers battle knowledge? If you were a commoner and have to send your sons out to battle, if you lose your son then you would basically be doomed to stay in your place in the caste system and never move up; Essentially locking your upward mobility if you were poor. We all expect future dystopias but man, we already have a dystopian-style historical empire. Huge amounts of logical fallacy. Uprising anyone?
Revelar SpoilerI really like this novel, the only thing that i don't like in it is that the MC just keeps loving being lowkey when it is not needed. This is not a big deal because most of the time he isn't scared of showing himself/his abilities. Also i would like an increase in chapters released per week. Thank you!!!
The story is pretty good. One of the better ones among Chinese Novels. But it has its own collection of problems. Translation : It is readable, but many sentences have lost their meaning among translation. Some words are misinterpreted, while others are in wrong place. I am not sure, whether it's translation error or writing error. For example, the story loves to use the term devilish to describe anything above average. Devilish talent, devilish beast, devilish tongue. Honestly, the terms should have been monstrous and not devilish. Similarly, I remember reading a chapter ( when he goes to Murong Xus family, before the five talents come.) The world servile has been used. MC looked at him in servility or something. Once again, wrong verb. MC didn't give a **** about him. Their are several such instances where wrong terminology has been used. From around chapter 400-500, divine weapons and divine dao has been replaced with Supreme Dao and weapons, which is causing confusion. Then their is the cultivation level, many times the levels have been changed or mixed. Where Profound should be used, they have used Perfect and so on. Plus cultivation level is not described clearly, especially the Mysterious Exquisite level. Anyway, talking about characters. I am taking western novels such as those by Sanderson, Martin, archer and Rothfuss. Although an unfavorable yardstick, it's a wasted effort if I compare CN with CN novels. It's okay. His aspirations are rather vague and sudden. They lack motivation and are extremely forced. His love life is sudden. How can three meetings turn into a life long love commitment, is something I can't fathom. The world building... Difficult to comment. Until ch 650 we have just gone over the Human and Xuan Yuan Mound. Several forbidden areas are still left. Despite that, from what I can see, the world building is rather lack luster. The politics is vague and completely depended in that regions owner and his backing. The economy is not even mentioned. The power division is also rather confusing. I don't expect something of Martin's level, but at least something?
I really enjoy this novel, it's one of my newest novels in my Library but it's become a solid novel that I actually look forward to reading. Sometimes there are some strange mistakes in some of the chapters, where blanks sometimes show up. But it doesn't bother the entire story all that much. [4.6 because I enjoy this, but it's not exactly perfect all the time.]

I hate when idiots spam stories with five star reviews for no reason at all. Story is dead. No updates have come out for w month. But idiots are too busy spamming for exp to actually point that out to new readers. So tread carefully. Novel currently ends right before a big event and nobody has any idea when the next update will happen.
Type of novel that talks about struggles between families and powerhouses. Those that want something about the hierachy, I recommend it. (Sorry i'm bad in english)
If you want a story about Martial arts expert reincarnating, and becoming young master of prominent family, through raw martial powers and cunning plots raising his influence in secret and confronting Martial World, go ahead and read 'Rebirth of The Heavenly Demon' by Jang Young Hun.
Revelar SpoilerIt starts out pretty promising but the story quickly grows stale for me. The main problem for me is that the MC just pulls all of his techniques out of the reincarnation hat. He never really explores the techniques of this new world and the battles are lacking much suspense. I never feel that the MC is facing something he can't handle or can't immediately deal with. He also takes part in exams/tests etc but is clearly a bully in there because his power is way too strong and he should be competing with elite warriors from other countries rather than local students of your local school. Anyways I ended up dropping this for now. I might give it another read when it is complete and when I have no other novels to read.
Revelar SpoilerIt's really hard to rate this novel. At times it's worth 5 star, at times it's worth 1 star. Some developments are fairly good, albeit following the stereotypical chinese martial arts novel plotlines. The adventures are interesting and entertaining, even if almost every villains are cardboard villains (except the Xi Men family from early chapters, the author made a good move that has never been repeated afterwards.) But there really are times where the author's ability to pull bullsh*t developments out of his a.s.s is really infuriating. The developments in chapter 493 and even the ones from 10 chapters prior to that, are perfect examples, and similar things happened many times before that. It's really an absolute shame.
Even though the story is full of cliché(s) so far but the way the author has used them in the story is quite good to keep the story interesting, well atleast until the current chapter cause I have only read it so much. Hope the story remains the same in the future aswell.
im expecting an op mc but it looks likes mc is weak and its fuvking annoying that author boast his talentless everytime to make him cool for us readers but in truth mc is so lame and weak weak weak ............ im wondering why they keep posting novels like this here ... im sure lot of readers is tired of this kind of cliche novels and its plot is just the same always its really annoying that everytime mc walks around he always meets some idiotic characters just to author boast the mc too much
It's a pretty good story, but the MC just becomes annoying after awhile. He like all other MC's have no idea what consequences are and don't prepare for them.
I'm not reading this novel for one small reason. It's right there in the description: "Never comply with aristocrats or rich people". Wtf kind of idiotic belief is this? I can already see this mc besting up a small disciple from some glorious clan and somehow gaining the hate of the entire clan, where they would do everything in their power to kill him. When they try to kill him they'll somehow force him into some kind of fruitous encounter and after he's done harvesting that encounter he'll rush back to the sane clan and massacre them. This will happen throughough the entite novel and be the only plot that we'll see.
Alright - so having read up to ch 573 thus far I can't not make a review to warn everyone at this point, I'll keep it simple. Up to chapter ~180 the quality of the novel and translation is fine. It was a fun read, nothing too special but not resorting to much of the usual cliches. Up to that point I'd give the story ~4.3 stars. Chapters ~180 to ~350 the story, character and world development take a huge hit. Cliches abound everywhere, MC constantly going from place to place saving **** and people praising the MC way too f'in much for anyone's taste. I'd give the story about 2.8 stars in these chapters. After ch ~350 the translation starts taking a huge hit along with the writing quality taking even bigger hit than before so I'll sum it up like this - This novel is written by an illiterate 12 year old writing his first book and translated by someone who's so f'in bored and tired of this **** that he/she/they seem no better than the author either. I'd not give it any stars if I could honestly. Its complete garbage at this point and if you really have to read it I recommend reading machine translation from start to finish in that case - you'd at least have some semblance of consistency rather than an inconsistent drop in quality of just about everything in this novel. And here's a sum of verbal face-slapping arguments past ch 350: MC: "So you can do that but I can't do that?" Enemy: "My pappy is stronger than your pappy!" MC: "Oh so you can say that but I can't say that?" Enemy: "Omg let's fight to the death!" Nobody: Everyone: "MC is the son of god and he's so amazing and everything he does is so good and amazing and also good and amazing too! Did we forget to mention how good and amazing he is?! Omg let's praise him into the next chapter!11!!!1!!!"
I like this story because of the world background and how it shows the mc training and training and how the win clan raises from low class to and upper class. And I am very excited on what the spiritual realm would be like. The translation quality is very good and I have nothing to say about it.
I thought that this story had some potential so I gave it a go. Managed to struggle to the middle of Chapter 12 before giving up. Main reasons for this 1) Stupid names for moves that make no sense and do not keep with the theme. 2) Power system is all mangled up and illogical. The MC struggles to power up and relearn things he had already learnt in his previous world. Why does it take so long to do something you already understand? Makes no sense. 3) Translation quality and editing could use some work. While I am not someone who normally complains, the some sentences leaves me wondering if I am trying to decipher a scrambled code. 4) Minor complaint - the story obviously was published on other platforms as it was not optimised for WN, in that it has font codes that are not deleted still in the chapters.
I have no real issues with the translation or stability of update; they're fairly standard. The issues I have are with the parts put in place by the original author. The MC is supposed to care deeply for his new family, but neglects them until he is forced to pay attention. The world has a impossibly large population given how frequently people die, and how small families are. Everyone up to chapter 73 is evil or a coward (or both) beyond a handful of people. Oh, and there is a lot of repetitive padding in the writing, definitely a "paid by the word" author.
Hi everyone, I am the translator of SoG. Currently, the editor and I are working to produce more chapters. Please leave any comments or suggestions you may have regarding the story plot, characters or anything else! Thank you!
