Fuyuki City.
The warehouse district.
Jeanne d'Arc stood in silence, her mind overwhelmed by the flood of memories she had received. Unlike the Masters and Servants who had gained personal recollections of their future selves, Jeanne had been granted the memories of the entire city.
"Death… destruction… despair…"
"The black mud pouring out of the Holy Grail, only to be severed by a golden light."
"Even so, the spilled mud caused catastrophic damage."
"So… the reason I was summoned by the Grail was to prevent the city's destruction?"
As she processed the memories, Jeanne couldn't help but notice something peculiar.
"Gas leaks, gas explosions, and even gas tanker explosions… Why is it always gas? Is Fuyuki City's specialty gas or something?" she muttered, her tone laced with sarcasm.
But the memories didn't stop there. At the very end, a direct command from Alaya, the Will of Humanity, echoed in her mind:
"Assemble all Servants. Eliminate the intruder from another dimension—the high-dimensional demon, Akira."
"Akira? Who is Akira?" Jeanne wondered, her blue eyes narrowing in confusion.
Before she could ponder further, a golden light enveloped her vision. A divine revelation unfolded before her eyes:
"In the seventh heaven, seven spheres of light radiated divine brilliance."
"She stood among them, her belly slightly swollen, nurturing a golden sphere of light."
"The sphere emerged from her, and the seven lights converged in the sky."
"Then… under the gaze of a young man, the Lord was born."
Though the golden maiden in the vision didn't resemble the Lord she knew, Jeanne was certain—it was Him. The divine presence, the aura of creation… it was unmistakable.
"So… the Lord wants me to bear a child?" Jeanne murmured, her cheeks flushing with embarrassment.
As a saint who had devoted her life to her faith, Jeanne had never even considered romance, let alone motherhood. Yet, here she was, being asked to carry the child of a divine being.
"If this is the Lord's will… then I shall obey," she said, her voice steady despite her inner turmoil.
But her resolve wavered when she realized the young man in the vision was none other than Akira—the very intruder Alaya had ordered her to eliminate.
"The Lord's chosen father and Alaya's enemy… are the same person?" Jeanne whispered, her heart sinking.
Meanwhile, on the battlefield, Saber and Lancer had ceased their fight. Both had received memories of a future timeline and were now preoccupied with their own thoughts.
Saber rushed to Irisviel's side, her expression grim.
"Irisviel, are you alright?" she asked, her voice filled with concern.
Irisviel looked up at Saber, her eyes filled with sorrow.
"Saber… Kiritsugu's goal was flawed from the start. The Holy Grail… it's been corrupted. No matter what wish is made, it will be twisted into something evil."
Saber nodded solemnly. She had seen it herself—twice forced to destroy the Grail, and now, on the verge of a third attempt.
Elsewhere, Matou Kariya was on the verge of madness. The memories of killing Aoi Tohsaka haunted him, driving him to the brink of insanity.
Kiritsugu Emiya, too, was grappling with the revelation that the Grail was beyond salvation. His life's work, his dream of saving humanity—all of it had been for nothing.
And then there was Tokiomi Tohsaka. The memories of his death at the hands of Kirei Kotomine and Gilgamesh's betrayal had shattered his composure. Desperate, he attempted to use a Command Seal to force Gilgamesh to commit suicide.
But Gilgamesh was one step ahead. With a smirk, he severed their contract using a dagger forged by Medea.
"Tokiomi, you're far too naive," Gilgamesh said, his voice dripping with disdain. "Now, let's see how this little game unfolds."
In the Tohsaka mansion, chaos erupted.
Kirei Kotomine, armed with a golden sword gifted by Gilgamesh, confronted Tokiomi.
"Master Tokiomi… it seems fate has brought us together once more," Kirei said, his voice filled with dark amusement.
Tokiomi's eyes widened in horror as Kirei plunged the sword into his chest.
"This… is the sword of patricide," Kirei whispered, a twisted smile spreading across his face. "A fitting weapon, don't you think?"
As Tokiomi fell, Kirei felt a surge of exhilaration. This was the joy he had been searching for—the pleasure of causing suffering.
Meanwhile, Rin Tohsaka, having inherited Saber's powers, burst into the scene.
"Gilgamesh! Stay out of my way!" she shouted, brandishing Excalibur.
Gilgamesh raised Ea, his divine weapon, with a smirk.
"Little girl, do you truly believe you can defeat me?"
The two clashed, their weapons unleashing devastating forces.
"Enuma Elish!" Gilgamesh roared, the power of his sword tearing through reality itself.
But Rin was no ordinary opponent. Using Saber's instincts and abilities, she dodged the attack and countered with a powerful strike.
"Ex—calibur!"
The collision of their attacks shook the city to its core.
In the end, Rin managed to escape, using Saber's power to teleport to safety. She reappeared in the Einzbern Castle, where Saber was waiting.
"Rin… you've come," Saber said, her voice calm but filled with concern.
Rin nodded, her expression determined.
"Saber, we need to retrieve Avalon. It's the only way to defeat Gilgamesh."
But as she spoke, her body began to shrink, reverting to her younger self. The strain of using Saber's power had taken its toll.
The night was far from over. The Holy Grail War had entered a new phase, and the battle for survival—and salvation—was just beginning.
