Capítulo 27: 27 Verdianna

It was a Sunday morning, 10am precisely but Eva was still in bed. She had worked her ass off throughout the week and today was the only spare time she had. She planned to spend it wisely and this- sleeping like a log of wood was one of the wise decisions she made.

She didn't plan to wake up any sooner.

Her phone beeped numerous times with message notifications but the piercing sound of the notification alert didn't wake her up. She changed her position on the bed and smiled to herself like a child being served milk.

Again, her phone buzzed and the next minute it rang out. With a pout, Eva kicked the phone to the other side of the bed and clutched the pillow tightly like her life depended on it.

10 times! The phone had rung. Eventually, Eva sat up and cursed inwardly reaching for it.

Without bothering to look at the caller ID, she yelled.

"Who the hell is it?!"
