Capítulo 2: Kekkei Genkai
Yasu had already achieved his goal of becoming as strong as a chunin, and his body was far stronger than that of most ordinary chunin after six years of intense training.
While Yasu was feeling happy and accomplished with his current strength, the system spoke to him again with even better news.

Yasu was stunned to hear this. He was already content knowing that the system appropriately rewarded his efforts, enabling him to grow his strength and chakra without limits and become a shinobi like Guy after a few years.
But learning that he could activate any Kekkei Genkai made Yasu even more excited. Over the past years, Yasu had personally observed at the ninja academy and in the village the difference in treatment a civilian shinobi received compared to shinobi from established clans.
Yasu also considered the possibilities—he could have a Byakugan, a Sharingan, Wood Release, or even large chakra reserves and abilities like the Uzumaki and Senju clans possessed.
[In addition to training, major achievements by the host that are recognized by the system will increase the purity of the chosen bloodline. The host will also receive other rewards, such as jutsu and other items of the host's choosing.]

Yasu wasn't sure if 21% of the Sharingan Kekkei Genkai was a lot, but fortunately, the system said he needed at least 30% to activate the Sharingan.
When Yasu realized this, it made sense. The Uchiha clan was known for maintaining marriages strictly within the clan to preserve the purity of their bloodline and prevent outsiders from awakening the Sharingan.
Yasu was smart and quickly understood how difficult it would be for him to awaken the Sharingan. After all, even though most of the Uchiha clan had purer bloodlines than 30%, only the most talented among them who faced intense emotional impacts awakened the one-tomoe Sharingan.
Thus, 30% likely wouldn't be enough for Yasu to awaken the Sharingan. And if, even after six years of training and the initial purity bonus, he had only reached 21%, it was reasonable to predict that it would take at least three more years for him to reach the minimum required to awaken the Sharingan.
To reach 100% of the Sharingan's purity, Yasu would need to push himself to the limit for another 24 years. That would be well past the final arc of *Naruto Shippuden*, meaning he would be long dead if Naruto or Sasuke needed him for the final battle.
Fortunately, the system mentioned that he could earn purity bonuses by achieving major accomplishments. Otherwise, he would be stuck with just the Sharingan Kekkei Genkai until the end of the story he knew, which would feel like a waste of the system.
However, as soon as the system activated the Kekkei Genkai, Yasu noticed further improvements in his body and an increase in his chakra, even with such a low purity level. His chakra control, which he had never been able to train properly due to his previously low chakra levels, also improved on its own.
This made Yasu understand why a shinobi with a Kekkei Genkai was naturally superior to a civilian shinobi. It also left him even more impressed with the achievements of the Fourth Hokage, Minato.
Yasu also knew that Orochimaru and Jiraiya were civilians who had achieved Kage-level strength. However, Yasu realized there was no point in dwelling on that when he had a much easier path to power through the Kekkei Genkai and the system supporting him.
Despite gaining all this, Yasu didn't let the newfound power get to his head. He knew that only through hard work could he gain more strength. Now that he had a clear path forward, he was more excited than ever to train.
Yasu didn't immediately start training as he usually did. Instead, he decided to go to the Forest of Death, where he could train without many shinobi noticing his sudden improvement.
Growing a bit stronger made Yasu worried that the village leaders might suspect he had been faking his weakness to avoid being sent to the Third Ninja War. Yasu knew he needed to stay particularly wary of Danzo.
This was especially important because, in the future, he might awaken the Sharingan. Yasu had always wanted to be a shinobi, but since he had already failed to graduate from the ninja academy, it was better to keep his abilities hidden and avoid becoming a shinobi right now.
