The spellcasting adepts were the first to launch their assault.

Behold, the halos of elemental power flickered and danced. Fiery orbs of incendiary might, crescent-shaped blades of wind whistling with a cyan hue, and arrows of water, glimmering with a cerulean sheen, all soared aloft to assail the ranks of the undead.

"Boom."

"Click."

"Tsk, tsk."

The fireball detonated with a thunderous roar, engulfing the foremost undead in a searing conflagration. The resultant shockwave rippled outwards, buffeting the surrounding undead horde.

In a flash of cyan luminescence, the wind blades sliced through the air, cleaving a swath through the undead. Those caught in the direct path of the blades were instantaneously shattered, their skeletal remains scattering upon the ground like so much detritus.
