Akikawa Kyusuke released Ohga Takao's hand, looking at him with curiosity and admiration as he asked.
"No, no, I'm quite different from them."
Ohga Takao smiled and waved his hand.
"I just run a small clinic and am not part of the entertainment industry."
Okino Yoko heard this and added with a smile,
"This isn't just a small clinic. Mr. Ohga is currently the most famous plastic surgeon in Japan's entertainment industry."
"Even if you're a well-known artist or director, you'll have to wait a long time to get an appointment with Mr. Ohga for medical or beauty treatments," Okino Yoko said, wearing a rather troubled expression.
"If there were anything I could improve, I'd have gone to Mr. Ohga's clinic to get a touch-up myself~"
If anyone else said what Okino Yoko had just said, it might come across as excessive bragging.
But when such words came from someone as lively as Okino Yoko, they didn't feel offensive or out of place at all.
Everyone around, including Takao Ohga, laughed.
"So I still hope Miss Yoko stays just as she is and doesn't let the image of the goddess in my heart collapse," Ohga Takao joked.
After bantering with the group, Okino Yoko led Akikawa Kyusuke away.
"Kyusuke, you might feel like I didn't introduce you much to them," Okino Yoko said.
"That's because you can't rush these things. If you recommend someone too deliberately, it might arouse resentment."
"Like today, just leaving an impression in their minds is enough."
As Okino Yoko led Akikawa Kyusuke back toward the rear of the banquet hall, she explained this softly to him.
"Yes, I understand. Thank you, Miss Yoko," Kyusuke replied.
"Pfft, so formal. No one's paying attention now."
Okino Yoko laughed, patted Akikawa Kyusuke on the shoulder, then took a step back to create some distance.
"Kyusuke, please return to Miss Itakura first. I still have to greet Mr. Jirokichi," she said with a wave before walking away lightly.
Akikawa Kyusuke stood there, watching Okino Yoko's figure retreat, and softly murmured the title he'd just heard for the first time:
"Kyusuke..."
---
Meanwhile, after bidding farewell to Akikawa Kyusuke, Okino Yoko made her way back to the front of the banquet hall.
At the same time, she used her peripheral vision to discreetly keep an eye on what was happening behind her.
She noticed Akikawa Kyusuke still standing there, watching her as she left.
"Phew—"
Once Okino Yoko rounded a corner and was out of his sight, she let out a long sigh.
"It's really tough. We need to make Kyusuke feel cared for, but we also have to prevent him from realizing it too much or getting too famous."
Miss Sonoko, you always do unnecessary things, Okino Yoko thought, her blue eyes landing on Suzuki Sonoko, who was pouring wine for Suzuki Jirokichi, and whispered this in her heart.
---
"Conan, did you notice Miss Yoko seems particularly kind to Mr. Akikawa?"
Mouri Ran looked at Okino Yoko, who had just finished speaking with Akikawa Kyusuke and gone to greet Suzuki Jirokichi, and suddenly leaned close to Conan, whispering in his ear with slightly flushed cheeks.
"Could it be that Miss Yoko and Mr. Akikawa are lovers?"
"Huh?"
Conan showed an embarrassed expression upon hearing this.
Considering their different surnames, Conan thought, If they were siblings, the whole of Japan would know within two days, based on their striking resemblance.
Speaking of biological siblings with different surnames, Conan turned to look at Sera Masumi beside him.
However, he found Sera's pure eyes fixed firmly on Okino Yoko's chest, which her dress accentuated.
1
The girl's delicate cheeks were filled with envy.
"This Sera..."
Sera Masumi was always like this.
Whenever she saw a woman with a good figure, she'd show an envious expression.
Though Conan had seen Sera Masumi behave this way countless times, it still felt a little odd to him.
Her chest is so big. What can I eat to grow like that?
Sera Masumi gazed at Okino Yoko with flushed cheeks, unable to stop herself from thinking this.
---
Suddenly, a sharp scream pierced the air.
It jolted Sera Masumi out of her shy reverie.
Both she and Conan quickly stood up and looked toward the source of the sound.
In the front of the hall, all the guests at one table were standing, and a portly man was lying motionless on the table.
"Ran, stay here!" Sera Masumi said, quickly rushing toward the scene.
Ignoring Mouri Ran's shouts, Conan also ran toward the accident.
Sera Masumi arrived at the unconscious man first.
Not far away, Takao Ohga, the plastic surgeon who had recently spoken with Akikawa Kyusuke, also rushed over.
"I'm a doctor," Ohga Takao announced solemnly, kneeling down to check the man's breath.
When he found nothing, Ohga Takao began checking the man's pulse.
"Go get the AED!" Ohga Takao shouted at Sera Masumi.
Sera wasted no time, dashing out of the banquet hall to find the automated external defibrillator.
Meanwhile, Takao Ohga instructed the bystanders.
"Help me! I'm going to perform CPR!" he shouted.
Conan quickly translated for the others, "He's going to do chest compressions! Help him!"
Takao Ohga placed his palms together on the center of the man's chest and began pressing downward at a steady rate of 100-120 compressions per minute.
After about 30 compressions, he tilted the man's head back to clear the airway, pinched his nose, and administered two rescue breaths.
---
Just then, Sera Masumi returned with the AED.
Under everyone's watchful eyes, she tore open the man's shirt and applied the electrode pads.
Following the AED's instructions, she administered a shock.
The AED then instructed: "No shock advised."
This could mean either the man's heart rhythm had returned to normal or he was experiencing asystole—no electrical activity.
Takao Ohga, now drenched in sweat, sat back with a pale face, gazing at the still-unmoving man.

"Is Mr. Ohga also a director?"
Akikawa Kyusuke released Ohga Takao's hand, looking at him with curiosity and admiration as he asked.
