If his calculations were not accurate enough and Aveline flipped at being approached so suddenly, doing more than punching him against a wall, maybe he would already be dead and the Lord of Profanity would be history.

Besides, if Brienne Ironheart was angered that a stranger suddenly came and was seducing her virgin daughter, maybe he would be dead too.

But taking risk was part of the thrill.
