Capítulo 39: Emily has been kidnapped

Arriving at the hotel, Alice rushed inside, her heart pounding with urgency. "Emily!" she called out repeatedly, her voice echoing through the hallways. She searched the room frantically, overturning every corner, yet no response came. Panic set in as the realization dawned on her—Emily wasn't there.

Her mind raced with questions. Where could she have gone? Who could have taken her? Emily was just a child and didn't know anyone in New York. The only logical conclusion was chilling: someone had abducted her. Gritting her teeth, Alice marched to the hotel reception desk.

"I need to know if anyone has seen my daughter," Alice demanded, her voice a mix of fear and icy determination.

The staff appeared concerned but shook their heads. "We haven't seen her, ma'am," the manager replied.

Alice's jaw clenched. "Then pull up the surveillance footage from yesterday night.
