Capítulo 37: Doesn’t Feel the Same, Does It?

Leonar took a deep breath as he looked around the bathroom, wondering how he had ended up in this situation.

"Alright, Eleonora," Leonar began, trying not to sound awkward while explaining something as mundane as a bathroom. "This here is called a sink." He gestured at it while she stared intently, leaning forward to inspect it more closely.

"Why 'sink'?" Eleonora asked, her expression serious, as if genuinely questioning the logic behind the name.

Leonar blinked. He hadn't expected that question.

"Well, because… it's for washing your hands, right? That's obvious."

Eleonora tilted her head, clearly unconvinced.

"And you can't wash anything else in it?"

"Technically, you can, but—" Leonar interrupted himself with a sigh, running a hand through his hair. "Look, don't overthink it. The point is, it's mostly for hands. Now, this over here is the bathtub." He pointed to the object on the other side of the room.

Eleonora turned her head toward the bathtub, taking a few steps closer and inspecting it thoroughly. She ran her fingers over the edge before turning her gaze back to Leonar.

"Why is it so big? It looks like more than one person could fit."

"Uh… well, you're not wrong," Leonar admitted, scratching the back of his neck and imagining a bead of sweat running down his forehead. "But it's meant to be spacious so it's comfortable. Not everyone has a bathtub this big, though—it's a luxury of the hotel."

Eleonora nodded slowly, though her expression remained a mix of curiosity and skepticism. Leonar carried on, pointing at the handheld showerhead next to the tub.

"This is a showerhead. It's for washing certain parts of your body more easily or rinsing off without filling up the whole tub."

Eleonora picked up the showerhead, examining it carefully and turning it over in her hands. She pressed the button on the handle, but nothing happened. She frowned.

"It doesn't work."

"That's because you didn't turn the water on," Leonar explained, holding back a laugh. He pointed to the knobs on the wall. "You twist these first to let the water flow. Then, if you point the showerhead at yourself… well, you'll get wet."

"Understood." Eleonora set the showerhead aside and pointed at several bottles on a nearby shelf. "What are those?"

"Ah, those are soaps," Leonar said, walking over. He picked up one of the bottles and held it up. "This one's for your hair—it's called shampoo. And this one's for your body."

Eleonora grabbed one of the bottles, uncapping it and sniffing the contents with a curious expression.

"Why does it smell so strange?"

"It's meant to make you feel clean and fresh after you bathe. The scent is part of the experience," Leonar explained, suddenly feeling like a salesman for bath products. "Anyway, soap is important, especially after coming from dusty places or… well, a goblin-filled casino."

Eleonora nodded seriously, as if she'd just learned a vital life lesson.

Leonar was about to take off his shirt when Eleonora pointed at the toilet.

"And that?"

Leonar froze.

"Uh… that's a toilet."

"What's it for?"

"Well… it's for, you know, doing your business."

Eleonora raised an eyebrow, clearly expecting a more detailed explanation. Leonar sighed and scratched his head.

"It's for… uh… when you need to get rid of something you ate."

"But I don't eat," Eleonora noted in her usual indifferent tone.

"Exactly, so you don't need to worry about using it," Leonar replied with a strained smile, eager to change the subject. "Some things are better left unknown."

Eleonora stared at the toilet for a few seconds longer before shrugging and turning her attention back to him.

Leonar, relieved, started unbuttoning his shirt but couldn't help noticing her watching him with the intensity of a child observing a new toy. He tried to ignore it, but his mind was already playing tricks on him.

Finally, when he was down to just his pants, Eleonora broke the silence.

"Are you going to bathe now?"

"Yes," Leonar said, trying to sound nonchalant. "Unless you want me to show you how."

"I want to watch," Eleonora replied matter-of-factly.

Leonar facepalmed.

"Of course, you do…" he muttered under his breath, disappointed in his own lame joke. He turned on the handheld shower, letting the water start flowing. As he rinsed his hair, Eleonora watched the stream of water with an unusually alert expression.

"What is it now?" Leonar asked, noticing her intense gaze.

"How can it control the water like that?" Eleonora asked, pointing at the showerhead.

Leonar couldn't help but laugh.

"Didn't you listen to my explanation earlier? It's just a tool, nothing special."

"But the precision of the flow is… odd," Eleonora insisted, frowning as if analyzing a great mystery.

"What, you can't do something like this?" Leonar teased, still chuckling.

"Focusing on something so weak and precise is pointless," she replied firmly.

"Then why does it bother you so much?" Leonar retorted, still amused.

"I'm not bothered," Eleonora insisted, though her furrowed brow suggested otherwise.

Still laughing, Leonar took the showerhead and sprayed water on her face.

Eleonora blinked a few times, completely unfazed by the water dripping down her face.

"What are you doing?"

"Well, since you're here, why not let me bathe you?" Leonar suggested with a mischievous grin.

Eleonora raised an eyebrow but eventually nodded.

"Alright."

As he lifted one of her arms to wash her underarms, Leonar noticed something that left him unsettled: her skin was warm and soft, just like a real person's. He tried to ignore the details but couldn't help glancing at the way her chest moved slightly with every small motion.

It was all too realistic.

"I'm going to use soap now," Leonar said, trying to stay composed.

"Am I dirty?" Eleonora asked, tilting her head.

"You've been in a goblin-filled casino, so yes, a bath won't hurt," Leonar replied as he lathered his hands with soap. He positioned himself behind her to avoid any overly… distracting views and began washing her neck and back.

The contact was surreal.

Her skin didn't just feel real; it even radiated warmth, as if she were truly alive. As his hands moved across her back, he couldn't help but question how the metallic orb he'd found in the casino had turned into… this.

"How does it feel?" Leonar asked, trying to distract himself.

"It's… relaxing," Eleonora admitted after a moment.

Leonar withdrew his hands, deciding that was enough.

"That was just a demonstration. Now it's your turn."

Eleonora frowned slightly but grabbed the soap and tried to mimic his movements. Leonar, meanwhile, averted his gaze to avoid any distractions… until her voice broke the silence.

"Wait."

Leonar turned, confused.

"What is it?"

"It's not relaxing anymore," Eleonora said, her tone more serious than usual.

Leonar raised an eyebrow.

"What do you mean?"

"It doesn't feel the same when I do it," Eleonora explained, her expression almost frustrated.

Leonar blinked in surprise before letting out a small laugh.

"Are you saying you want me to keep going?"

Eleonora nodded without hesitation.

"Yes."
