Creating a mild shockwave.
To which the poison goblin Retaliated with its Poison Fog in massive dosages but it was easily overshadowed.
Leaving it to only enough to protect itself mildly.
It was pure darkness from both the Elite shades eyes and from the Poison Goblins eyes
Soon all that was heard was a breaking sound behind the Poison Goblin.
No one knew what broke or how it had come so close without alerting anyone but what they knew was to avoid frontal confrontation.
The Goblin immediately stepped backwards not before exuding more poison fog from itself, still yet, immediately it left its skin, it got lost in darkness.
It tried extending it's senses to perceive where the poison went towards but it seemed to be rapidly devoured by the dark smoke everywhere.
Soon crunching sounds was heard and more crunching sounds until a gulp was heard.
"Was it eating?" Seth asked
"What was it eating?"
"It seemed as though he was watching a video game from a blank screen"
Anxiety killed him but what killed him more was the torment of loss, impending doom and ...
*Shuu*
The black smoke immediately started getting absorbed towards a certain direction and the elite shade already began moving closer to the dungeon core.
Immediately the black cloud came it could no longer absorb Mana so it decided to actively try to destroy the Mana core.
Immediately the sight was back and everyone could perceive images and colours.
What they saw amazed them including Seth.
In place of the dungeon core now stood the guardian.
"Don't tell me what it ate was the .... Dungeon core?"
The red glow on its body and sword now pulsed like it was alive.
It stood motionless as the pulse grew brighter, and harder, almost alive.
"What does this mean?"
[Emergency!!!]
[Emergency!!!!]
[Emergency!!!!!]
[You have perceptively come into contact with an abomination, it is advised to flee or retreat when possible]
"An abomination?"
The dungeon immediately loaded his brain with information, so much that his felt his head shook aggressively.
His summons feeling the disturbance through their connection immediately understood before anything even expressed.
They both looked at each other understandingly.
"Did they just communicate?" Seth asked but that wasn't the problem
They both attacked in synchrony against the guardian.
Attacks rained in from punches to blade slashes to restrictions which were broken up on contact, to poison fog again.
This continued on until they both ran out of Mana and the guardian still kept dodging and swaying even with its sword held on one hand.
They tried countless tactics from trying to restrict to full on attack to trying to separate the sword from its owner.
With the dungeon core destroyed the option of gathering Mana wasn't here or rather was monopolized
But they never even got close to laying a finger on it .
They couldn't even read it's movement as it had none and only moved when attacked and never attacked.
It was not a self defense movement but a full on evasion movement.
This was despair to both summons.
Meanwhile Seth had been contemplating on what to do and how to get out of this situation.
From trying to communicate which still wasn't allowed to trying to take over their bodies at any cost to even trying to undo the summon over them but still ineffective.
He tried getting more information from his connection to the dungeon but again ineffective.
It was as if that was totally outside his jurisdiction, which it was.
He also tried improving the boundaries and expanding even as his mana recharged but still, it would need countless thousands of Mana to get his dungeon to that size.
Likewise that would be a town sized dungeon and that size would probably match its rank of A rank or even more if any.
And at that point his assets wouldn't match his resources.
Emotions were in turmoil.
Despair, Desperation and frustration.
What is this?
A warning?
Did he aim too high?
We're his ambitions out of reach again
Regrets and Mental Recession, if possible
Was on him, he was mentally fucked up right now.
And little did he know that his emotions and turmoil affected his summons and even more affected the dungeon as a whole.
He got Dungeon notifications but none hit him as it didn't even register in his eyes to see.
He was drowning in his own thoughts, deeper and deeper until he felt it.
The darkness and loneliness before all this.
It was like a phase of his life or his whole life in particular was replaying right from the moment he was born.
A child, A teenager, an adult and then finally a man.
How did he get to be what he was, as how did he get it.
"Come to think of it, since I got here, I never one reminisced about my life before this."
That was just how much deep down he wanted to close that chapter unknowingly.
"I can't even remember much anymore" He said
Up until now he thought he had a very strong mental fortitude but this just showed him he was still at the buttom barrel.
It was probably irrelevant since he didn't remember much.
Or was it.
Who were his parents?
'We're they also like me?' Seth though
Did he have siblings?
If he did it would probably be a junior sister, that'd be nice, he would treat them....
He didn't know how he would treat them
He opted for appreciating if he had a junior brother then, but still didn't know how he'd show appreciation.
It seemed weird .
But then again maybe he was the junior sibling, it wouldn't be too far off or wrong.
If he couldn't feel it, then it meant it wasn't there.
Right?
The thoughts.....
In Turmoil
What was going on?
Why can't I focus.
Where am I?
This is unlike me, what brought me here?
To this low point?
He tried remembering them it hit him again an abomination.
The system defined an abomination as an infinitesimal possibility of a mistake.
At least that was in the terms he could put it, in other words.
Something that should not be.
Fuck!!! He said, cursing twice in a day.
Going Premium by month-end and starting win-win next month.
