Kato Dan, for his part, had no intention of stepping in. At least not yet—he wanted to allow Reiki and the others to handle the situation. This was his chance to demonstrate his strength and presence in front of Tsunade. As a representative of Konoha, it was also his duty to advocate for the village's interests.

*Water Style: Water Severing Wave!* Ke Dong's expression grew serious as he saw Shisui's Sharingan. Without delay, he launched a water-style jutsu to counter Shisui's fire attack.
"Target the two support ninjas. I'll keep the Uchiha busy," Ke Dong ordered. He quickly realized that Shisui was the core of the team, with the other two likely playing supporting roles. If he could contain Shisui and the others managed to defeat Reiki and Nozuki, the battle would be theirs. Confidently, he dismissed the presence of Kato Dan, thinking the elite jounin wasn't much of a threat.
"Understood!" Hit and Seka quickly advanced toward Reiki and Nozuki, kunai in hand, eager to close in and engage them directly. Close combat was generally the weak point of medical and sensory ninjas, so they assumed this fight would be over soon.
"Clang, clang, clang…"
As kunai clashed, Reiki and Nozuki were initially pressed back. The Rain ninjas' quick, aggressive moves put them on the defensive. Kato Dan watched closely, his expression tightening. The Rain ninjas' jounin hadn't even stepped in yet, but if he did, Konoha's team would be at a serious disadvantage.

Senka, who had targeted Reiki, was suddenly knocked back. To his shock, he found himself facing the "medical ninja" wielding a massive sword, charging at him with surprising speed.

With Reiki momentarily slowed, Senka seized the opportunity to launch a lightning-style jutsu. Combining water and lightning jutsu increased its potency. But as the lightning struck, Reiki vanished in a puff of smoke.
"A shadow clone?! When did he cast that?" Senka muttered in frustration. Lacking strong sensory abilities, he couldn't pinpoint Reiki's real location. His strategy now was to join forces with Hit and overwhelm Nozuki, reasoning that if they took her out, Reiki would be forced to reveal himself.
*Wind Style: Wind Blade!* Nozuki created some distance and launched a single-target wind-style attack. Hit and Senka dodged, circling around the attack to reach her.
*Fire Release: Little Serpent!*
*Lightning Release: White Beetle!*
Reiki reappeared beside Nozuki, casting both fire and lightning jutsu in quick succession. The red and white energy surged toward the two attackers, hitting them squarely.
*Boom!*
The impact sent both Rain ninjas flying, one with burns and the other slightly paralyzed.
"What's wrong with you two? You can't even handle two support ninjas?" Ke Dong shouted in frustration. In his eyes, taking down two "support" ninjas should have been easy, especially considering they were younger.
"Ke Dong, these guys are… different," Senka gasped, clearly shaken. "They're not support ninjas at all!"
He felt completely overwhelmed. Reiki could execute hand signs quickly and move with speed and proficiency. Senka hadn't even noticed when he cast the shadow clone.
"Whatever they are, just take them down!" Ke Dong's chakra flared as he summoned a water clone, sending it to engage Shisui.
*Clone Technique!* Shisui raised his short sword and released a series of clones, surrounding Ke Dong.
"Hah! The clone technique? That's child's play!" Ke Dong scoffed, countering with his strongest area attack.
*Water Style: Senbon Explosive Waterfall!*
A column of water shot up, and countless water senbons fired outward, piercing Shisui's clones. Yet the clones dissipated, revealing they were illusions.
Ke Dong froze, bewildered. "Where is his real body?"
Suddenly, Shisui appeared in front of Ke Dong, landing a powerful strike with the back of his short sword. The impact sent Ke Dong flying, knocking him out.
"This can't be…" Ke Dong had thought he'd been fighting the real Shisui, but now he realized he'd been duped.
"Shisui, I'll handle Ke Dong. We may be allies soon, so I'll heal him first," Reiki said, appearing next to the fallen ninja and beginning to treat him.
"Understood." Shisui turned his attention to Hit and Senka, advancing on them.
"He…he's healing Ke Dong? Is he really a medical ninja?" Senka and Hit exchanged panicked looks. Reiki's abilities in combat had been on par with a fighting ninja, yet now he was performing medical treatment. They couldn't reconcile his skills with the role of a support ninja.
"It's not a good habit to lose focus in battle!" Nozuki's voice cut through their confusion.
Before they could react, they were hit with a powerful blast that sent them crashing backward, several ribs broken from the force.
