Capítulo 30: Back Where She Belongs

 The loud ringing of a phone woke Ashley up with a start. She glared at the device which rang incessantly, a blistering headache threatening to end her.

 Sighing, she picked up the phone, not bothering to check the caller ID, and answered the call. "Hello?" Her voice came out groggy and she couldn't help but let out a groan. "Ash, are you okay?" A male voice entered her ears, and she recognized the person instantly.

 "Will?" The man let out a low chuckle. "Yeah."

 The young woman made a distressed face, feeling somewhat embarrassed. She ran her hand through her hair in frustration before speaking. "Yeah, yeah, I'm fine, " she said hastily. "I'm just a little hungover. One sip of a beer, and I was out."
