We hear the sound of the helicopter whirring before we can see it.
"I can't fucking believe this." Karlen murmurs as the sleek black helicopter approaches the yacht.
"Who is that?"
Bui even as I ask the question, I already know who it is. I know.
He is here. Though I don't know what his reasons for being here are. Karlen and I haven't done anything wrong, and I haven't tried to escape again.
"Come on." Karlen stands and holds out his hand to help me up. We walk to the front towards the helipad as we wait for the helicopter to touch down.
Sergio comes out first, all rugged windswept in his Russian beauty, but then he turns to help someone else alight. Marlene.
