Capítulo 23: 023 Sharing the same bed for the first time, is this not okay?

Zoe Bell's face flushed red all at once as William Hale set down his tablet and stood up to walk toward her.

Getting closer,

closer and closer.

Until she could feel the breath that belonged to him gently brushing against her face.

Her fingers tightened slightly, "I didn't mean that, I just think it's getting late, staying up all the time is harmful to your health, you should go to bed early."

As she was feeling nervous, William Hale suddenly let out a low chuckle.

His voice was magnetic and deep, and when he was close, his laughter made her ears tickle.

The distance between them was subtly just right, not too close, but she could clearly feel the warmth of his breath on her face.

He looked down and said:

"I understand, Mrs. Hale."

"You go back to your room and rest, I'll reply to a few messages, and then I'll go to sleep immediately."

His voice was clear, gentle, and melodious; Zoe's palms were hot, and she said with a tight throat, "Then I will go to sleep first."
