Chapter 5 : Internal energy
The sun was at it's peak, the bustling roads that were packed with people. The streets were crowded, vendors were screaming for their products.
Demon divine cult was as is usual, filled with crowd. Today was no special day, like everyday there were no extraordinary things happening there.
As time ticked people were doing there own things, then a pedestrian got bumped into a burly man, he fell on the ground.
The burly man was like a gaint in front of the pedestrian, he was martial artist. When the crowd saw him bumping and falling to ground, they all began to shatter As not anger the martial Artist.
But one man walked towards the fallen pedestrian and extended his hands to help him, seeing him helping the pedestrian the burly man got angered.
He was a delinquent in our culture. But the man who helped didn't faltered and continued to help the man and waved him to go, he was also a martial artist.
Of course who knows, who knows what level of power he has but nothenless he was a martial artist with a sword hanging on his waist.
The burly man glared at the martial artist, and lunged at him with a fighting posture. The man responded the same, he unseathed his sword and got in a posture.
Their fight started with the swordsman being pushed back, "hahaha..... so weak yet doing help to unknown mens. I'll teach you hownthe murim works you ant."
Taunted the burly man, in response to that the swordsman began to get in posture and, in an instant he moved so fast that the pedestrian couldn't capture what happened.
As they were in awe of the speed, the burly man screamd.
"ARRGHH.... huff.... huff ."
He was taking hits with the swords back portion. After some second he was on the ground, kneeling with wounds all over his body .
The swordsman was standing there with sword in hand, seeing the amazing display of martial arts the crowd began to cheer for him.
Ending the fight, the swordsman started walikng towards a inn.
After the fight, the swordsman man took his hat, that was covering his face, and placed it on his left hand, while walking.
Some of them recognized the man, he was a cadet of the academy who passed the second test, in the academy 10 years back.
Now he was working at one of the six clan's guards unit. He was righteous from his early days, in his house area all men respect him.
Returning to topic, he took a room in the inn, and got in that room to rest.
While all of this thing was happening, Asmodeous was observing the fight, by blending into the crowd.
He got the essence of the martial art forms that the swordsman has performed, immediately after seeing it.
It was a low level martial arts, if Asmodeous has to guess it probably was sword formation, that you'll have to learn in academy to pass the third test.
It look like the man has mastered it after being expelled from the academy, aside from all this he has gotten a good technique for starters.
Now he need something to absorb internal energy, to do that Asmodeous was standing on a rooftop with his face coverd by a mask.
He was thinking of copying it by the same man, he would've have been drained of internal energy, that's why he came to rest in the inn.
Now he was spying to see if he will circulate his energy, so Asmodeous also can copy that .
Judging from the gossips after the fight, Asmodeous guessed that he would be on [Advance prowess].
After waiting for some time, Asmodeous saw the man entering by the door, and sat on bed in a lotus position.
He has hidden himself at a spot, from where he can see the whole room except besides the windows.
After sorting his breath, the man started breathing in a particular pattern, observing him for some time, Asmodeous got the essence of his breathing technique.
Even after getting the breathing pattern, he was still crouching on the rooftop,spying the swordsman.
But he didn't get anything else, so he thought of going back to the inn, of that middle-aged lady.
He was capable of speaking now, After observing the peoples for 5 hours. Asmodeous has began wandering in morning and now the sun was hanging low, on the verge of being invisible.
He returned to the inn without doing anything else, he wanted to try the method and fell the strength in his body.
Even after living in void for millennials, he didn't get to feel the strength in his entire being, indeed he has developed resistance to void , cosmic energy, darkness. But all that was in his soul form.
After making his own body, he sensed it. This body was purely connected to his soul, they were in Harmony. That's why even though he looks like 16 or 17, his age was Uncountable in his system.
While being in his own thoughts, he reached the inn. He saw there, the lady sitting on the receptionist's table.
Glancing at the lobby, he didn't saw anyone sitting there so he walked towards her and said , "I want to talk ."
Listening to his monotonous voice, she didn't said anything and began to wrap the trays scattered on the tables.
"I'll come to your room, after sorting out and closing the inn." Said the lady.
Asmodeous didn't said anything and began to climb the stairs.
After sometime they both were eating in Asmodeous's room, while eating he asked a question, "How many days are left untill the academy opens. "
Seeing his sincere tone of asking questions, she answered him, "There are 4 days till the academy opens."
"Do you want to go the academy, you should." Said the lady. While thinking something in her mind.
Nothenless they talked about things while eating, Asmodeous was enjoying his meal.
As time ticked night came and moonlight pierced the room by windows.
