Wanderer decided it was finally time to tell Faruzan his secret.
"You're... a puppet?" Faruzan blinked, sitting across from him in his office. The door was securely closed and locked, ensuring their privacy.
"Yes," Wanderer nodded. "I know it's hard to believe—"
"Oh, I believe you." Faruzan cut him off. "I've always had this theory you were some kind of robot or cyborg."
Wanderer stared at her, taken aback. "What?"
Faruzan smirked. "Think about it. No one can stay awake for three days straight without looking tired. You barely eat unless you feel like it, and even that's rare. I'm pretty sure others have noticed too."
Wanderer sighed. "Well, yes, I am a puppet. I was discarded long ago and wandered Teyvat for years before ending up here."
Faruzan's eyes lit up with curiosity. "Can I see your inner workings?" She stood and approached, clearly intrigued.
Wanderer shrugged. "I don't mind as long as you don't tamper with anything. One reason I hired you was because of your expertise in mechanical engineering."
Faruzan grinned. "A puppet's gotta be different from anything I've worked with. So, where do you keep your vision? Hidden inside you, I bet?"
"Exactly. Best to keep the source of my power concealed."
"Smart move… Now, you're going to have to strip down if I'm going to see your mechanics." Faruzan paused, raising an eyebrow. "Wait… Do you even have a male anatomy?"
Wanderer twitched, glaring.

The door to the office burst open suddenly, and Himiko stood there, breathless and determined.
"I've made my decision!" she declared, causing both Wanderer and Faruzan to stop reviewing their reports.
Wanderer sighed, visibly annoyed. "What now?"
"I want to be a hero!" Himiko announced proudly. "I'm enrolling in the hero course!"
Faruzan's face lit up. "That's amazing!" she clapped her hands, beaming.
"And I want you to train me!" Himiko pointed directly at Wanderer.
"...No." Wanderer's response was instant, cold, and firm. Faruzan looked at him, stunned.
"What?! But, Uncle Wan!" Himiko whined, practically stomping her foot.
"No. And stop calling me that." Wanderer growled.
"Why not?" Himiko pouted.
Faruzan intervened gently. "He must have his reasons, Himiko."
Wanderer sighed, crossing his arms. "Plenty of reasons, actually. But here's the important one—why do you want to be a hero?"
Himiko hesitated for a moment, her gaze dropping to the floor. "Because… I want to show everyone I'm not a monster. I want to prove I can be something good, to prove them wrong."
Wanderer raised an eyebrow. "So, it's about spite?"
Himiko shook her head, more resolute. "No. I don't want anyone to go through what I did. I want to make sure no one else suffers like I have."
Faruzan's expression softened, pride and sadness mingling as she looked at the girl.
Wanderer remained quiet for a moment, his face unreadable. "...I can't train you, even if I wanted to. Our abilities are vastly differs and is not reliable to build your foundation. But…" he paused, glancing at her, "I can find someone who can."
Himiko's eyes lit up, a wide smile revealing her sharp fangs. "Thank you, Uncle Wan!" She darted around the desk and hugged him tightly. Wanderer's face scrunched in irritation.
"Don't. Call me that."
"But 'Wanderer' is too long!" Himiko whined.
Faruzan chuckled softly from the side.
===========================
"So you want me to train her?" Aizawa, better known as Eraserhead, leaned back in his chair, eyeing Wanderer carefully.
The two had arranged a quiet meeting at a nondescript café, both dressed inconspicuously in civilian clothes. Wanderer had opted for a hoodie and sunglasses, while Aizawa wore his usual low-profile outfit.
Wanderer nodded. "You're the best person for it. Most heroes rely heavily on their quirks… I can teach her some hand-to-hand combat, but when it comes to stealth and how to use her quirk effectively—especially with knives—you're the one she needs."
Aizawa crossed his arms, considering. "Her quirk… it's transformation, right? She needs blood samples to change into others?"
"Exactly. It's a dangerous quirk if used improperly, but she wants to become a hero so no one else suffers like she did. And... to prove she's not the monster people think she is."
Aizawa took a slow sip of his coffee before nodding. "I don't have much free time with my teaching schedule, but I can work her into it. She's the girl you saved, isn't she?"
"Yes." Wanderer's voice softened slightly. "She's determined, but she needs guidance."
Aizawa shrugged. "I'll take her on. But you better get her into shape first."
Wanderer smirked. "My sidekick's already handling that."
"Good. Don't go easy on her." Aizawa smirked back.

"One! Two! Three! Four! Five! STOP!"
Burnin's voice echoed through the training room as Himiko punched the dummy, sweat pouring down her face. The training was far tougher than she anticipated.
"That was weak!" Burnin barked, pacing around her. "You're not just throwing punches—you need to engage your whole body! Watch!" She demonstrated a powerful strike, her form flawless. "Now, again! After this, you've got fifty laps around the gym!"
Himiko groaned, wiping sweat from her brow. "Freaking bitch…"
"I HEARD THAT! Make it a hundred!"
"FUCK!"
===========================
In the skies above Mie Prefecture Capital, Tsu City, a plane plummeted toward the earth, both turbines engulfed in smoke and flame. The horrified crowd below pointed and gasped, their faces upturned in shock as the aircraft hurtled downward.
"MAYDAY! MAYDAY! Both turbines are out! Unidentified explosives have detonated! We're losing altitude fast!" The pilot's voice crackled over the radio, each word edged with panic. The co-pilot fought with the unresponsive controls as the ground rushed closer.
"This is central command. Heroes have been dispatched. Brace for impact and take all precautions. Over."
The pilots exchanged a grim look. Even with heroes on the way, would they arrive in time?
Inside the cabin, chaos reigned. Panic rippled through the passengers—some screamed, others braced for the inevitable. Among he turmoil, a young boy pressed his face to the window, oblivious to the danger.
"Dad, look!" he shouted, eyes wide with wonder.
The boy's cry pierced through the panic, and passengers turned toward the windows. What they saw made them freeze in awe. Outside, flying alongside the doomed plane, was Wanderer—his expression calm and focused, his hair, without his iconic hat, whipping in the wind as he matched the aircraft's descent. Without hesitation, he surged forward, positioning himself beside the turbines to assess the damage.
"Wanderer, this is Ryukyu. We're en route! Just hold on!" came a sharp voice over his earpiece.
Wanderer didn't respond immediately, his keen gaze sweeping over the wings. The damage was intricate—explosives had targeted the turbine circuitry rather than causing structural destruction, leaving turbines unscathed. With a quick calculation, he dove beneath the aircraft, extending his hands upward. A powerful gust of wind enveloped the plane as he summoned the air to support it. The pressure shifted in an instant, and the rapid descent slowed dramatically.
With practiced precision, he manipulated the wind, forcing the turbines to spin again. They sputtered at first, flame and smoke blown away, then roared to life, propelling the plane as if they had never been damaged. The entire aircraft stabilized, as if cradled by an invisible hand.
"Hold on? I've already got this covered," he muttered under his breath, lifting the plane effortlessly.
As Wanderer maintained the aircraft's altitude, his Vision pulsed lightly, but he showed no sign of strain.
Below, the streets of Tsu City were in chaos. Shadows stretched over the city as the massive aircraft, once plummeting uncontrollably, now moved steadily through the sky. The wind from its descent had kicked up debris, and citizens were frozen in place.
A hush fell over the streets as the plane passed low overhead, its shadow sweeping across the buildings and people below. They had all seen the aircraft spiraling out of control, and now, even though it was stabilized, it was still too close—too dangerous.
Then someone shouted, "Look! It's slowing down!"
Eyes turned upward, and relief rippled through the crowd as they realized the once-falling plane was no longer in freefall. It moved slowly and steadily, it seems being carried by unseen hands. The space above the towering skyscrapers felt impossibly tight for a plane of that size, but it maneuvered through it with uncanny precision, brushing past rooftops without so much as a tremor.
"Is someone… lifting it?" a voice from the crowd murmured in disbelief.
Then they saw him—Wanderer, hovering below the massive aircraft, arms outstretched, the air around him shimmering in green. He wasn't stabilizing the plane; he was guiding it. The wind, now bent to his will, supported the aircraft as it navigated through the city.
People began to point, and gasps turned into cheers. "The Wind Hero! It's Wanderer!"
"He's saving them!" another voice shouted, and soon, a wave of applause and shouts of gratitude filled the streets.
"Wanderer! Wanderer!" The crowd chanted his name, their voices rising above the roar of the engines that had sputtered back to life.
As the plane finally cleared the last of the skyscrapers and soared toward the safety of open skies, the citizens erupted in applause.
Parents hugged their children, shopkeepers leaned out from their windows to see, and people on the streets clapping and wiped away tears of relief.
As Wanderer continued to guide the plane on its course.
"You're incredible!" an exuberant voice came from his side. Wanderer glanced over to see Nejire soaring beside him, her bright eyes full of admiration.
"Ryukyu's on her way too, right?" Wanderer asked, his focus never wavering.
"Yep! She's ready to help guide the landing!" Nejire beamed.
"Tell her to assist with steering this thing toward the nearest airport," he said calmly. Nejire nodded, zipping away to relay the message.
With Ryukyu's guidance, they maneuvered the plane toward a safe landing. As the aircraft touched down without a hitch, Wanderer floated gracefully to the ground, his wind dying down as he summoned his hat with a flick of his wrist, placing it back on his head.
Ryukyu, having returned to her human form, approached with a smile. "Nice work out there. You made that look effortless."
"It was," Wanderer replied blandly, adjusting his hat. "You were a great help holding it last minute, otherwise I would've strained myself."
Ryukyu chuckled as she shook her head. "I don't know if you're just bragging or being humble."
Before Wanderer could reply, Nejire zipped over, eyes sparkling with curiosity. "How did you manage that so easily? There's so many obstacles yet none of them hit! And where does your hat come from? Is it some kind of magic? Because you weren't wearing it when—"
Wanderer's eye twitched as her rapid-fire questions came in. Without a word, he turned and shot into the sky, uninterested in entertaining her barrage.
Nejire pouted, crossing her arms. "He didn't answer any of my questions!"
Ryukyu chuckled, patting Nejire on the head. "That's just how he is. Don't take it personally."

With a calm wave of his hand, Wanderer intensified the winds around him. The gusts swirled through the forest, fanning the flames away from critical areas. With another upward flick, he created an air vacuum, stripping the fire of its fuel. The roaring flames sputtered, shrinking into nothingness as the inferno gradually lost its life force.
Thick plumes of smoke still choked the sky, hanging low over the treetops. Wanderer took a deep breath and summoned a powerful windstorm. The gale tore through the forest, sweeping away the dense smoke in vast billows, revealing the clear sky once more. The dark smog was carried far from the forest, dissipating harmlessly.
A few minutes later...
"Wanderer!"
Wanderer stiffened, the voice breaking the quiet of the forest as he finished dusting off his hat. He had been dealing with a rapidly spreading forest fire, his sharp eyes surveyed the charred trees and smoldering ground.
The Wind Hero had been close enough to respond quickly when the call for help came. Using his anemo, he had deftly suffocated the flames by removing oxygen from specific areas, allowing the forest rangers and campers trapped within to escape safely.
Just as he finished, a group of familiar heroes arrived on the scene.
"Hello, Pixie-Bob," Wanderer greeted in a flat tone, not even bothering to turn fully toward the voice. The Wild Wild Pussycats had arrived.
Pixie-Bob, ever bubbly, skipped forward with a wide grin. "Thanks for the assist, Wanderer! You really saved us some work back there." Her smile turned playful as she leaned closer. "So, I was wondering… are you free later?"
"No," Wanderer replied without hesitation, already turning to walk away. Pixie-Bob's face fell into a pout.
"You have it from here?" Wanderer asked, glancing at the remaining three members of the team.
Tiger, the group's most composed member, nodded. "Yes, thanks to you. We've contained the fire, no casualties, and the area is secure."
"Thank you for helping us out, Wanderer," Mandalay added, her tone more inquisitive. "What brings you to this area? You don't usually respond to these kinds of incidents."
Wanderer shrugged. "I fly all over Japan. This forest is still part of it, isn't it?"
"True, but you should leave natural disasters to us and other heroes," Ragdoll chimed in, crossing her arms with a huff. "It's kind of our specialty."
"I'll keep that in mind," Wanderer said, his expression indifferent. "But a little extra help doesn't hurt anyone." He lifted into the air, preparing to leave before Pixie-Bob could say anything more.
"Boo hoo!" Pixie-Bob whined, watching him hover. "He's always so aloof!"
Mandalay sighed, rubbing her temple. "Really?"
Pixie turned to her with a dramatic flair. "Don't tell me you don't find him attractive!"
"He's easy on the eyes," Ragdoll hummed, smirking as she headed off with Tiger.
"Exactly! I bet he's totally different when he's not working. He must have hidden husband material!" Pixie-Bob exclaimed, spinning around to her teammates.
Mandalay rolled her eyes in exasperation. "I think you might be projecting a bit."
With a final pout, Pixie-Bob crossed her arms, staring longingly at Wanderer's disappearing figure as he flew off into the horizon. "A girl can dream."
===========================
"Damn Wanderer!" Endeavor growled, his fists clenched as he glared at the TV. The news was once again covering Wanderer's latest heroic feat, praising his mastery of wind and calm efficiency. Every mention stung.
Ever since that upstart had burst onto the scene, Endeavor had been knocked down to the No. 3 hero. It was a blow to his pride—a humiliation he couldn't stomach. For years, Endeavor had clawed his way to the top, but now this new hero had taken what was rightfully his.
"SHOTO!" Endeavor's voice boomed through the house, vibrating with frustration. "It's time for training!"
From the kitchen, Fuyumi sighed softly, her eyes flicking to her younger brother. Shoto stood up wordlessly, his expression cold as he headed toward the training grounds without protest. She could see it—the simmering resentment in his eyes, the hatred bubbling just beneath the surface. Every order from their father felt like another burden placed on him.
She wished, more than anything, that her family could be whole. That they could be normal, not fractured by ambition and pain.
Meanwhile, on the other side of the city, Izuku Midoriya sprinted through the bustling streets, his heart pounding with excitement. He spotted the chaos of a villain attack in the distance, his eyes wide as he zeroed in on the scene.
"Whoa! That's a huge villain!" Izuku gasped, getting as close as he could to the action. He could feel the ground tremble with every step the villain took. He whipped out his trusty notebook, jotting down every detail. Observing villains in action was one of his favorite things—analyzing quirks, understanding their powers, it was all invaluable for his own growth as a hero.
He scribbled furiously, eyes shine with giddy. Even though he wasn't involved in the fight, he could learn from it. And one day, it would be him out there, saving people just like the heroes he admired.
Not far from the Wanderer Agency, in a quiet alley, small feet padded swiftly along the pavement.
A soft gasp escaped her lips. "The experiment was a success! I can move between dimensions now—this is incredible!" The voice was filled with awe as bright green eyes scanned the surroundings, gleaming with excitement and curiosity.
So now we're going into the anime, sorry if it was short but it's difficult to write right now, but hopefully now I'll get back into it, honestly it's just a serious case of writer's block, anyway, please let me know what you guys think, comments keep me going!
