Capítulo 12: The Birka Technology

Fram hurriedly withdrew, his mind already working on the necessary preparations.

In the room, the silence that followed Fram's departure was interrupted by the soft voice of Rika, the blonde servant who continued massaging the god's legs.

"My God" she began cautiously, her fingers hesitating momentarily in her task, "Will there... really be a war soon?"

Michael, without opening his eyes, calmly replied: "What's the matter, Rika? Do you have something to say about it?"

The young servant visibly trembled, aware of her slip. "No, my God," she hastened to respond, "I was just curious." Her eyes nervously moved towards Anjie, seeking support.

Anjie, the other servant, frowned. "Rika," she reprimanded, "This is our God's decision. Our duty is to obey, not to question."

Michael, sensing the tension in the air, slowly opened his eyes.

His gaze fell on Rika, who seemed to shrink under his scrutiny. "There's no need to be so severe, Anjie," he said softly.

Then, addressing Rika, he asked: "Are you worried about the lives that could be lost in the war, Rika?"

After a moment of hesitation and a slight nod from Anjie, Rika found the courage to respond. "Yes, my God. Birka has known peace for many years..."

"I regret the disruption of that calm," Michael interrupted without compassion. "However, these sacrifices are necessary for a greater good."

A shiver ran through both servants. The angelic beauty of their young god brutally contrasted with the coldness of his words, revealing a heart of steel beneath his celestial appearance.

Michael, oblivious to his servants' reaction, sank into his thoughts.

For him, Anjie and Rika fulfilled a specific role in his rise to power: to care for and attend to him while he grew in strength and influence. Their opinions on matters of state or war were irrelevant to his greater plans.

Not long after Fram's departure, Enel burst into the room, his face lit up with excitement.

"My God!" he exclaimed, bowing respectfully before Michael. "Is it true what I heard from that guy? Is a war about to begin?"

Michael nodded slightly, his expression impassive. "It is."

"I'm glad to see your enthusiasm, Enel. Are you ready to take the initiative?"

Enel's eyes, with their golden pupils, shone with excitement. "I couldn't be more ready!" he responded fervently.

The pact he had made with Michael resonated in his mind: if he performed enough meritorious deeds, his god would take him to the Infinite Land. This war represented a perfect opportunity to prove his worth.

"Leave it to me, my God!" Enel declared confidently. "I won't let you down!"

"Good" Michael replied.

He knew that, after receiving the advanced fire seed, Enel's destructive power had increased exponentially. Combined with his Logia ability, Enel now possessed the strength necessary to cross the White-White Sea.

Enel, brimming with enthusiasm, withdrew to continue his practice of Mantra, determined to perfect this skill before the coming battle.

After his departure, Michael sank into a restorative nap. Upon waking, he resumed his routine of absorbing sunlight in his spherical form, floating serenely over Birka.

Although these days seemed to pass in apparent idleness, his mind never ceased working. During the training sessions of the Knights of the Sun, he had assigned Fram an additional task, crucial to his plans.

...

One day, half a month after initiating the search, Fram presented himself before Michael with the results of his investigation.

"My God" he began with a voice laden with emotion, "I have ordered the God's Guard to scour every corner of Birka and question every inhabitant. Finally, we have found something extraordinary."

He handed Michael a bundle of yellowed and aged papers.

Michael took them with interest, carefully unfolding them.

Before his eyes was revealed a set of intricate designs: detailed plans for the construction of a ship. The drawings were sophisticated, accompanied by meticulous data.

"I never imagined something like this existed in Birka," Fram commented. But what surprised him most was that his God had known of the existence of these plans.

"Not bad," Michael murmured, a slight smile curving his lips.

Enel would build his ark in the future, but not for being a scientific genius or an expert carpenter.

He remembered from the manga that the name "Birka" was shared with an ancient lunar city, famous for its advanced technology and architecture. The connection between the two couldn't be mere coincidence.

Examining the plans, he realized that, although incomprehensible to him, they probably represented the design of the ship that brought the Moon's inhabitants to this place.

Enel's Ark, he reasoned, must be an adaptation of these same designs.

However, Michael was aware of the current limitations. Birka lacked many of the necessary materials mentioned in the plans, which explained why Enel would resort in the future to using the special explosive projectile from Sky Island along with his Thunder Fruit as an energy source.

Although his curiosity was piqued, he knew that for now these plans were unusable. Birka not only lacked the necessary resources, but also carpenters capable of interpreting and executing such complex designs.

'The carpenters of Water 7 could do it,' he thought. The idea of visiting that place in the future, while the famous Fishman carpenter Tom was still alive, settled in his mind.

"God," Fram commented solemnly.

"I believe these plans could be a legacy from our ancestors who descended from the moon. They could be the key to navigating the sea of stars!"

Moistening his lips, a spark of excitement lit up in his eyes. "So, are there more islands and kingdoms to discover in the White Sea and the White-White Sea?"

Michael smiled, pleased by his insight.

"Your point of view is accurate," he confirmed. "Now, go and help me bring them all back under our domain."

"Yes, God!" Fram exclaimed, bowing deeply. "The Knights of the Sun are ready and prepared to be deployed at any moment!"

"Excellent," he nodded. "Let them prepare. Have the candidates for the second group of Knights of the Sun been selected?"

Fram nodded enthusiastically. "Yes, God. Since the creation of the first group, the warriors of the God's Guard have strived to stand out. The quality of this new group should not be inferior to the first."

"Perfect."

Michael smiled. "Summon them. The second group of Knights of the Sun will forge their mettle on the battlefield."

Fram withdrew hastily, the imminence of war palpable in the air.

Shortly after, the second group of selected warriors arrived at the plaza. Michael, true to his word, granted them the fire seed, maintaining the proportion of nine golden flames for each healing flame.

The effort of creating these new seeds plunged him into a state of temporary weakness due to the loss of soul power. However, this only caused him drowsiness without affecting his combat effectiveness.

After all, although the source of his ability came from the world of Bleach, Michael was not a shinigami and did not fight with his soul.

Moreover, Michael was confident that his direct intervention in this war would probably not be necessary.

With all members of the Knights of the Sun gathered and half of the God's Guard mobilized, the powerful army took shape. The total number of troops amounted to seven hundred people, a formidable force by the standards of the sky islands.

The objective: Vearth, located more than a hundred nautical miles from Birka island.

This sacred land, the only solid earth island in the sky, represented not only a treasure in resources but also a symbol of supreme power in the White-White Sea.
