"Well Stella, don't cry. It's almost time for school to end. If Adrian sees you, he will blame himself."
He carefully wiped away the tears at the corners of her eyes with a handkerchief. He was as gentle as usual.
Stella agreed in a low voice and said angrily, "I know, I am just angry. I don't feel good when I think of how Adrian felt."
Her son, whom she had protected like a baby, had been hurt by RK. How could she be indifferent?
Not long after, she calmed down, and Adrian came out.
"Darling, Uncle Tristan, you came to pick me up from school. It is great!"
The Little fellow exclaimed very excitedly, however, Stella could still tell that it was all a lie.
Her son had experienced too much today...
He was not a very good actor...
Looking at the child jumping in front of Tristan with a pang of guilt, Stella couldn't help but feel sad.
"Come on, tell me what you want to eat and what you want to play tonight. How about we play with Darling tonight?"
