Capítulo 79: Hornvein: Flare

Brodin looked around, seeing dregs of the Bloodflame ascend to the top of the church, slowly burning away into cinders in the wind. 

"I...." He said as he looked around, "I suppose it's done....it feels wrong....." 

"There was much we didn't understand about him, besides him being a monster." Michael nodded, "One thing I do know; he came to this Town, presumably under the orders of this Asmodeus, and brainwashed the people in order to Corrupt them, get them ready for this ritual...all while another Demon lurked underneath...." 

Brodin sighed, "Atticus....Arthur....." He said, "He wasn't a good person but I never imagined he'd end up under a Demon's control." 

Michael took his pipe and began to smoke it, "This is not something I wanted to discover, a successful Blood Contract." He said, "A situation much more worse than simple Corruption...Demons.....they're a thorn on the side of us Mortals." 

"Tell me about it." Brodin sighed
