Capítulo 7: Did the Knight find his princess?
Svetlana was having a hard time deciding what to wear for the date.
She had to call Lucia over to help her choose what to wear. And to also look after Kith while she is gone out for the evening.
The evening's atmosphere was warm , the stars shining bright. She was already set and waiting for him. Recce drove along Svetlana's driveway, she had the car spinning up her front porch.
While She was going down stairs , she saw Lucia and kith opening the door.
Recce came in and saw her coming down the stairs, he thought, she was one of the most dazzling woman he had ever seen. Her smile was dazzling; the sparkle of her jewelry on her wrist, neck, and ears made her shine; and with her gown of rich amethyst purple dazzled , quite boldly exposing more perfection of her figure and bossom. That would drive any guy crazy.
Her hair was held up loosely leaving her creamy back exposed, her brown eyes sparkled like the stars in the night. Her smile was very captivating exposing her sparkling white teeth as she spoke:
'Am set to go.'
Recce was out of words, just staring at her. His thoughts still wandering.
Kith shouted. ' Mum your the most beautiful woman in the whole wide world'. Running towards her.
Oooh, thank you son. She bent and kissed her son on the cheek.
Recce approached her.
'You look beautiful tonight.'
'Thank you, you look handsome yourself.' She replied
'Shall we go'. Recce asked
'Yes we can.' While getting her coat.
See you later guys, Kith and Lucia said bye as they drove away.
'Where are you taking me tonight?' She asked
'It's a surprise.' He smiled at her.
The car spend along the coast up a hill with the warm ocean breeze feeling the atmosphere, silence filled the car. Recce was staring Svetlana at the corner of his eyes, he did not expect to be mesmerized by this woman.
They reached at a high end resort, the view of the ocean and the city lights far beyond it was magnificent.
Recce got out first and opened the door for her.
'I have never viewed the city from up here at night, it's very beautiful.' She said.
He took her hand and they walked on the path heading to the furthest side of the resort. At the end of the path, was a beginning of a trail of roses heading to the candlelight dinner setup at the shore of the ocean.
'Wow! it is beautiful.' She remarked with her eyes filled with tears.
'You are my woman now and you deserve the best.' He said while getting close and he took her to his embrace, under the moonlight and nothing else mattered.
'Am glad that you like it'. He said finally kissing her on the forehead.
They finally sat down. Recce poured them a glass of champagne.
"Cheers to a new beginning." He said.
"Cheers." she responded.
' So when asked where and when did we meet? What are we going to say?' Svetlana asked.
'You were a guest at my hotel, which is true but leave the unpleasant details of that day.' Recce replied.
'And we have been dating for six months now. And nobody should know about this arrangement even your family members. He added
Okay, i was never planning on telling my family of such a crazy arrangement in the first place. She remarked.
The detective was hiding among the trees taking photos of them at the far end of the resort where their view was clear enough for him.
Recce signaled the violinist to start playing.
'Will you do me the honours of dancing with me .' He said while stretching his hand for her.
She stood up and placed her hand on his. He took her in his arms next to him.
The violin was playing at the background, creating a romantic mood. They were lost in the enchantment of the candlelight, it was a perfect night for two.
Their bodies electrified when they finally held each other so close, gazing at each other's eyes, he bend down. The smell of her scent aroused him, his lips touched hers a burning sensation flowed through her body and she reciprocated. They kissed passionately and they moaned intensely matching their prolonged waiting to do it.
Svetlana came to her senses and withdrew. She staggered to regain her balance.
'We can not do this, we are not even a real couple.' She stammered
'Take me back home.' Said Svetlana
Her face was flushed from the kiss.
Recce tried to talk her out of it but she did not want to listen.
'Please take me home.'
'Okay, let go.' He accepted
The drive back to Svetlana's home was very silent and a distant tension between them.
Recce thought, i think i'm falling for her but she doesn't feel the same. I have to figure out away to prevent myself from being carried away easily while am next to her.
'Why did i allow him to kiss me, he does not even love me. He sees me as a mere friend. Your going to get hurt if it continues like this, get a hold of yourself', she cautioned herself in her own thoughts.
They arrived at a her place eventually. He opened for her the car door and escorted her to her front porch.
I had a good time with you tonight. He smiled.
Have a goodnight sleep, i will call you tomorrow morning, said Recce.
'Okay' she replied.
Kissed her on the cheek then he left.
Svetlana stood at the door until Recce's car sped away into the silent calm night.
