Third person's POV

A slow smile spread across LaGrange's face as he savored the moment before speaking.

"The seemingly insurmountable Chloe has a weakness now. She has found her mate, and he is nothing but a weakling." Alpha LaGrange informed the other Alphas. 

"A weakling?"

The elderly Alphas' eyes widened in surprise at the revelation, and matching grins slowly spread across their faces. 

"Interesting! Now, this is going to be so interesting ..." Alpha Grayson stated, a hint of amusement in his voice. 

They exchanged knowing glances, and immediately the atmosphere in the room shifted from tension to triumph.

"When do you plan to make use of this... fortunate discovery?" Alpha Wilson leaned forward, his eyes gleaming with renewed interest.

"Yes, tell us your strategy. After the catastrophe with Marcus's pack, we need something concrete to restore our faith in this mission." Alpha Victor added eagerly.
