After checking the deck's cabin one more time to ensure no survivors had been missed, Chen Qing could finally rest assured and continued walking downwards.

There were three rooms downstairs, two of which were used as bedrooms by the pirates, from which a sour stench mixed with the smell of alcohol wafted.

It was exceptionally foul.

The other room, however, emitted a strong smell of blood.

All of them were shackled, and it seemed they had been wearing their restraints for some time, as their wrists bore friction wounds of varying severity.

The sound of the door opening only awakened two people, while the rest seemed to have fainted due to severe injuries and fever.

These two had the lightest injuries, and, apparently, they wore the clothes of dancing ladies.
