Capítulo 61: Making Decisions We Don’t Like

The ground was undulating below the three Sphinx settlements. It was much worse in the circular walled city, which many Sphinx considered their main city, because many of the undulating tremors originated from there.

The tremors seemed to start from Shram's home and move out in rippling rings to the rest of the den.

Shram had been initially sullen and annoyed and did not want to help in anyway. He instinctively knew that this was Trannisa trying to force him into working with the Milana.

He wanted to live his own life for a change.

First he was born the Diamond Sphinx and now he needed to be a soulmate to the Milana. When would he be able to make his own decisions.

His life had only consisted of strict preparations for his life as the Diamond Sphinx. He had to learn specific types of magics, he had to live away from his family and in a specific place, he had to always behave a certain way and do specific things for the den.
