"NO!" Han's roar echoed throughout the tunnel. His eyes, dilated with horror, helplessly watched as his comrades were vaporized one after another by the relentless thermal vision.

A wave of terrifying chakra emanated from Han's body, the power of the Five-Tails manifesting.

"Hold on!" he shouted.

But his words fell on deaf ears. Luo Lei's thermal vision continued, seeking and destroying with precision even those who had momentarily managed to take refuge in the cave walls.

Han tried to channel more chakra from the Five-Tails, desperate to create a barrier, anything that could stop or at least slow down the destruction. But to his horror and frustration, he felt the resistance of the Five-Tails within him.

"Damn it!" he roared internally, fighting against the beast inside. "We need your power now!"

But the Five-Tails remained reluctant, its survival instinct alerting it. The beast had sensed the mortal danger that the thermal vision represented and refused to take risks.

"Cowards!" Han shouted. "Both you and them are cowards!"

___

"Holy shit!" The exclamation resonated throughout the Konoha camp.

"Is this... is this even human?" muttered a jōnin, trembling with disbelief.

"I can hear the screams... My God, those Iwagakure ninjas underground... they must be..." A chūnin couldn't finish the sentence, his face pale with nausea.

"Luo Lei-sama is... is too cruel," whispered another, a mixture of admiration and terror in his voice.

The Konoha camp had fallen into stunned silence, broken only by choked exclamations and labored breathing. Hundreds of eyes were fixed on the scene of destruction before them.

They had anticipated many scenarios, but nothing had prepared them for the brutality of now. Without giving the Iwagakure ninjas a chance to emerge, he had massacred them in their own tunnels, turning their refuge into their tomb.

The mental image of the enemy ninjas, trapped in confined spaces, unable to escape while being vaporized alive, made them shudder involuntarily.

"This is madness," Obito muttered. Beside him, Kakashi and Rin nodded silently, their pale faces reflecting the horror they felt.

Jiraiya watched in amazement and fear the rays emanating from Luo Lei's eyes. "What kind of Kekkei Genkai is this...?" he wondered, feeling for the first time in a long time a sense of vulnerability. "Shooting lightning from the eyes... and with such power? The temperature must be... unimaginable."

Shikaku, Inoichi, and Chōza exchanged glances. The horror in their eyes was evident. They had already seen Luo Lei's ocular abilities, but the scale of destruction far exceeded any expectation.

"This... this goes beyond any jutsu we've seen."

Minato felt the world wobble beneath his feet. He looked at the Hiraishin kunai in his hand, then fixed his gaze back on Luo Lei's devastating rays.

For the first time in his life, his pride in his own technique was eclipsed by an overwhelming sense of inadequacy.

"So this is... envy," he thought, surprised by the intensity of his own emotions. "No, it's more than that. It's... fear."

___

Two kilometers from the Konoha camp, the air was charged with the tension of thousands of Iwagakure ninjas.

The anticipation of the imminent battle mixed with growing anxiety.

Shibito, aware of the weight of responsibility on his shoulders, let out an involuntary sigh.

The expectant silence was suddenly broken by the alarmed voice of a nearby sensor ninja.

"Shibito-sama! The situation has changed drastically!"

Before he could elaborate, a deafening roar filled the air and the ground beneath their feet began to shake violently.

Suddenly, the horizon lit up with a crimson glow.

Two beams of red light, intense as the sun, emerged from the direction of the Konoha camp. They cut through the ground at an impossible speed, leaving a trail of destruction in their wake.

The air filled with searing heat. Where the rays touched, the earth melted, turning into bubbling lava.

Columns of smoke and steam rose into the sky, obscuring the sun and creating an apocalyptic landscape.

Seeing this, Shibito, his face beaded with cold sweat, felt his mind go blank.

"What... what the hell is this?" he muttered.

Roshi, Sumashi, Akatsuchi, and the other leaders remained paralyzed, their eyes wide open in an expression of amazement and terror.

It was as if they were witnessing the end of the world, unable to process the magnitude of what they were seeing.

The ground continued to shake, cracks appearing and spreading like cobwebs beneath their feet. The heat was so intense that some ninjas in the front lines retreated.

The beams of red light continued their advance, getting closer and closer to their position. With each meter they advanced, the destruction became more evident.

The smell of ozone and burnt earth filled their nostrils.

Thousands of ninjas found themselves completely defenseless.

Clang!

The metallic sound of the kunai falling to the ground resonated in the silence. The ninja who dropped it was shaking uncontrollably.

Suddenly, as if lightning had struck his mind, Shibito shuddered. "The tunnels! Our men underground!"

With a speed born of desperation, he materialized at the entrance of a nearby tunnel. The terror on his face was palpable as he watched the crimson rays approaching inexorably.

"Help! Han-sama, help us!" The heart-rending screams emerged from the tunnel.

"Get out! Get out now!" Shibito roared.

One after another, ninjas covered in dust and blood began to crawl out of the tunnel. Their faces were marked by the horror of what they had witnessed.

But there were so few... Barely thirty managed to emerge before a deafening tremor shook the earth.

Boom!

The ground shuddered violently.

Cracks spread like cobwebs, and before Shibito's horrified eyes, the tunnels began to collapse one after another.

"NO!" His cry was lost in the roar of the crumbling earth.

A cloud of dust rose. When it dissipated, it revealed a scene of total devastation. Where there were once entrances to the tunnels, now only smoking craters and churned earth remained.

"How is this possible?" Rōshi, who had just arrived, muttered.

"Damn it, why is this happening?" Sumashi roared, pounding the ground with his fist.

Akatsuchi, his face pale, whispered: "It's him... Luo Lei, the God of Slaughter of Konoha."

As soon as these words fell, everyone realized.

They had been waiting for the signal to attack, confident in their perfect plan. Instead, they received a brutal demonstration of their enemy's power.

The hole that had been dug with much manpower and resources was actually collapsed by Luo Lei.

Trembling with rage, Shibito looked at the few survivors. Only thirty... out of more than a thousand ninjas who had been in the tunnels.

"A thousand..." he muttered. "A thousand of our best men... buried alive or vaporized."

The silence that followed was deafening. Every ninja present felt the weight of the loss, the magnitude of the catastrophe they had just suffered.

"That monster... Luo Lei... Why is he here so quickly?"
