Victor took his weapon, using it as a crutch as he stood up abruptly.

"I need to find my arm before we head back."

Cassie frowned, confused.

"Why? What's the point?"

"If I can get it to a healer fast enough, they might be able to reattach it,"

He explained, though his tone was less certain.

"But there are no guarantees."

Cassie considered his words, her brows knitting together as she processed his words, her gaze flicking over to Kaleb's unconscious form and back to Victor.

"I'll help."

Victor raised an eyebrow.

"And leave Kaleb behind?"

She looked at Kaleb, still unconscious on the ground, and sighed.

"There's nothing I can do right now anyway, so let's find your arm."

Without further argument, they began their search, leaving Kaleb behind as Nessa tended to her own injury in silence, her gaze fixed on Kaleb.
