Tensions were high, and each member of the team was keenly aware that this mission would demand more caution and precision than ever.

Akari spread a hand-drawn map on the forest floor, marking out the estimated location of the site. She traced a finger along the path they would take. "We'll have to follow the river for about a mile to stay concealed. The ritual site is set in a valley surrounded by dense forest. According to the markings, there's an old ruin there that's been twisted into a stronghold for these dark rituals."
