The room was quiet, save for the occasional creak of the floorboards and the relentless sarcasm of the disembodied voice that had become her reluctant companion.

Elara glared at the air. "I'm trying to think, System. Unlike you, I don't have an encyclopedic knowledge of the universe. Maybe if you gave me helpful advice instead of constant insults, we'd get somewhere."
