Capítulo 53: YOU CALLED ME CHARLOTTE TWICE

Sebastian's car screeched through the road, Daniel's words burning into his mind like acid.

"You can do whatever you want with that creep," Daniel's voice echoed. "He's clueless about who pulled the strings. I handed him a simple task, and he nearly took a girl's life."

Daniel's laughter still grated in Sebastian's ears, fueling his rage. The wink that followed, paired with a whispered jab, "I'm getting smarter, am I?" made Sebastian's blood boil.

His grip on the steering wheel tightened as he sped toward Henry's house.

He slammed on the brakes, his anger boiling over as he reached Henry's block. "Asshole," he snarled, the curse aimed squarely at Daniel.

Though revenge against Daniel seemed impossible, he was sure to make Henry pay for betraying Charlotte.

He stormed up to Henry's front door, finding it ominously ajar. Frantic noises inside signaled something amiss.

He burst in, his eyes landing on Henry's chaotic packing.
