"Can we see her now?" Natalie asked, exhaling deeply in relief.

The doctor's gaze shifted to Sebastian, seeking confirmation. Sebastian nodded subtly. "They're with me."

The doctor smiled warmly. "Of course, you can go in now."

Natalie and Rachel entered Charlotte's room, leaving Sebastian behind with the doctor.

Sebastian's expression turned serious. "What happened to her?" he asked.

The doctor's smile dissolved, replaced by a neutral expression. "Let's discuss this in my office."

Charlotte sat up, wincing as a sharp pain shot through her head. Her gaze narrowed, focusing on Natalie and Rachel's worried faces.

Natalie rushed to her side, tears streaming down her face. "I'm so sorry, Charlotte. I should have stopped you from leaving when you wanted to talk."

Charlotte's confusion deepened as Natalie enveloped her in a warm hug. She patting Natalie's back, trying to soothe her. "What's going on? Why am I here?"
