Capítulo 126: Chapter 126: Prison Breakout!

Deep Sea Prison, Impel Down

The oppressive silence of the infamous underwater fortress was undisturbed as Edie slipped into its depths. His ability to remain completely undetectable and invisible allowed him to infiltrate the most secure facility in the world without incident. Not a single guard or surveillance Den Den Mushi noticed his presence as he navigated the labyrinthine corridors, his destination clear: Eternal Hell, the sixth and final level.

Edie arrived without issue, his gaze falling upon one particular cell. Inside, the legendary Golden Lion Shiki lay restrained, his once-mighty form reduced to a shadow of its former glory by the relentless torment of high-purity Seastone chains.

"You look really miserable, Shiki," Edie said casually, his voice cutting through the gloom.

Golden Lion's head snapped up, disbelief and hope warring in his gaunt features. "Doctor! You finally came to save me!"

Shiki's voice, raw with emotion, drew the attention of another inmate. Across from him, Douglas Bullet, the "Descendant of the Devil," stirred, his sharp eyes narrowing in irritation.

"What doctor? Have you gone mad, Shiki?" Bullet's tone was laced with skepticism, but his curiosity was piqued.

Edie regarded Bullet silently for a moment, recognizing the infamous former crewmate of the Pirate King. A user of the Paramecia Fusion-Fusion Fruit, Bullet was an extraordinary individual—but he was not the primary objective of this visit.

Without a word, Edie flicked a set of keys into Shiki's cell. As the keys materialized in midair, Shiki's astonishment deepened.

"Jiehaha! I knew it! I couldn't have imagined your voice!" Shiki exclaimed, scrambling to retrieve the keys with his sword-legs. He maneuvered them skillfully, using his mouth to position them before unlocking his shackles.

The sound of the Seastone chains clattering to the floor echoed through the cell. Shiki stretched, savoring his newfound freedom. "You're a man of your word, Doctor! But…" He glanced around, perplexed. "Where are you? Invisible huh?"

"You're sharp as ever," Edie replied, his disembodied voice tinged with amusement.

Bullet's eyes widened as he realized the truth. "An invisible man? What the hell is going on?"

As Shiki prepared to savor his liberation, Bullet interrupted, "Hey, Shiki! Pass me the keys!"

Shiki sneered, his disdain evident. "Why should I? You ignored me all this time, acting like a big shot. Now you want my help?"

Before Shiki could turn away, Edie's calm voice intervened. "Open his cell, Shiki, and use these to collect a blood sample." Two syringes appeared midair, clattering to the ground near Shiki.

Shiki grumbled but complied, unlocking Bullet's cell and begrudgingly taking a blood sample as directed. Bullet's curiosity deepened, but he wisely held his tongue, his instincts warning him not to antagonize the mysterious figure.

While this transpired, Edie glanced further into the cell block, his thoughts elsewhere. His visit was not solely for Shiki or Bullet. There was one more individual of interest here—Byrnndi World, the "World Destroyer" and a user of the Paramecia More-More Fruit.

"I need you to collect these guys blood for me, You can also release them if you really want" Edie advised. "We're here to collect samples, not start a widescale prison riot however."

As Shiki worked, the prison's surveillance network caught sight of his movements. The alarms were triggered, and a flurry of activity erupted within the monitoring room. The sight of a high-profile prisoner escaping from Eternal Hell sent immediate alerts to the Director of Impel Down, Magellan.

The clock was ticking.

Iv4, Blazing Hell

The oppressive heat of Blazing Hell enveloped the director's office. Magellan, the imposing warden of Impel Down, was pacing, his brow furrowed as he processed the report from his subordinates.

"What? Escaped? Impossible! Those chains were crafted from 100% pure seastone!" he bellowed, his voice reverberating through the walls.

The subordinate trembled as he explained, "The key vanished from the guardroom—completely disappeared from surveillance only to reappear in Shiki's cell..."

Magellan gritted his teeth, the weight of responsibility crushing him. Shiki, imprisoned for the second time, had managed to escape within days yet again. If this got out, it would be his disgrace to bear.

"What's the situation in Level 6?" Magellan demanded, striding purposefully toward the door.

The subordinate hurried after him, keeping pace. "Golden Lion Shiki appears to be searching for something—or someone. The good news is he hasn't released any other prisoners. He's the only escapee so far."

"Notify Shiryu immediately. Tell him to secure the upper exit! I'll deal with this personally," Magellan ordered.

As his words fell, his body exuded a thick, purple venom, cloaking him like armor. The air grew heavy with the acrid stench of poison.

The subordinate instinctively recoiled, coughing violently from the toxic fumes. "Th-The antidote…" he stammered, pointing back toward the office.

"Find it yourself," Magellan snapped, rushing toward the elevator leading to Level 6. Time was not on his side.

Eternal Hell, Level 6

Amidst the dimly lit cells of Eternal Hell, Edie pocketed the blood samples from Douglas Bullet and Byrnndi World. The syringes shimmered briefly before vanishing under the power of the Clear-Clear Fruit.

"Doctor," Shiki said, handing over the last syringe, "it's done."

Edie's voice, calm and composed, came from nowhere. "Well done."

Shiki grinned, his sharp teeth glinting under the flickering light. "Your abilities are frighteningly efficient. You could assassinate anyone, anywhere, and no one would ever see it coming."

Edie didn't respond, but his mind briefly entertained the thought. Could he use this power to strike down Imu, the enigmatic sovereign of Mariejois? Yet, the uncertainty of her return from temporal exile made the plan untenable as of now.

"The objective is complete. Let's move," Edie said, his tone flat and final.

Shiki moved toward the elevator shaft, still perplexed by the lack of resistance. "Strange… No ambushes, no reinforcements? What are the Five Elders playing at?"

"Perhaps they've tampered with you in some way," Edie mused. "Stay alert. Paramecia abilities are unpredictable."

Shiki scowled at the suggestion, recalling his last battle with the Commander of the Holy Knights. He had been ambushed by seawater and captured. What happened during his unconscious state remained a mystery.

Suddenly, the ceiling above them exploded, and a torrent of purple venom cascaded down like a waterfall, blocking their path. From within the venom emerged Magellan, a towering figure radiating menace.

"You're not escaping this time, Golden Lion Shiki," he growled.

Shiki tensed, assessing the threat. Fighting Magellan in such a confined space was a nightmare scenario. One misstep could mean death.

"Only you?, The World government must be on crack Jiehahaha~" Shiki asked, feigning nonchalance.

Magellan's Observation Haki swept the area, but he detected no one else but Shiki. "Hydra!" he roared, summoning three venomous dragons to lunge at Shiki.

Shiki responded instantly, slamming his sword-legs into the ground. The earth trembled as a massive wall rose to intercept the attack. The venom sizzled against the barrier, corroding it rapidly.

"Slash Wave!" Shiki countered, sending a sharp arc of energy slicing through the venom and hurtling toward Magellan.

Magellan dodged, transforming into a ball of venom that raced along the ground before reforming behind Shiki. With a sinister grin, he unleashed his ultimate move.

"Kinjite: Hell Judgment!"

A blood-red venomous giant rose, its skeletal form radiating deadly intent. The giant's hand came crashing down, aiming to engulf Shiki in a tide of corrosive venom.

Just as the attack seemed inevitable, Magellan froze. His body jolted as an invisible blade pierced through his chest.

"What…?" he gasped, his eyes widening in shock. He couldn't see his assailant—couldn't even sense their presence.

Behind him, Edie materialized briefly, his blood-stained sword gleaming in the dim light. Without a word, he retracted his blade, letting Magellan collapse in a heap.

"Doctor," Shiki said, grinning once more. "You're full of surprises."

Edie said nothing, already ascending through the shaft. Shiki followed, leaving Magellan behind to struggle against unconsciousness.

"Damn......!"

Magellan wanted to attack them again, but Edie's sword penetrated his internal organs. As soon as he raised his hand, he strained the wound, and blood continued to gush from his mouth.

He opened his eyes and saw them already gone from view.

When he gritted his teeth and tried to stand up, he fell to the ground again with a plop.

....

These vicious pirates cannot be allowed to leave...

His strong will did not help him get up again, Magellan only felt his eyelids getting heavier.

Suddenly, footsteps sounded.

Magellan, who was lying on the ground, moved his head slightly, and when he raised his eyes, he saw someone who surprised him.

"You look pretty pathetic, Director Magellan."

"Why are you...why here?"

Magellan spoke in disbelief, and as soon as he spoke, he couldn't help but vomit even more blood.

"I asked you to guard the upper exit, why did you come here! Shiryu...

"Hehehe, Why bother stopping them?, those two are the most vicious pirates in history who killed hundreds of Celestial Dragons, They deserve some respect Right?"

Shiryu of the Rain held a cigar in his mouth and slowly drew out his famous sword from his waist "Thunderstorm".

He walked toward Magellan step by step.

Magellan's breath froze, and he understood immediately.

This man wants to kill him!

Shiryu of the Rain raised his sword high and slashed it down without mercy.

"I will report to the government that Commissioner Magellan, who did his job well, "died heroically" in battle against the enemies."

"Farewell, Magellan."

Above the Sea

Minutes later, Shiki and Edie emerged from Impel Down, their escape an undeniable success. Shiki hijacked a nearby warship, tossing its crew overboard before using his Float-Float Fruit to ascend into the skies.

Standing on the bow of the ship, Shiki roared with laughter. "Jiehahaha! I've done it again!"

Nearby, Edie and his team of Earthly Branches regrouped, their mission complete.

"Doctor!" Shiki called, his tone grateful. "Thanks to you, I'm free again!"

Edie hovered in mid-air, his expression indifferent. "The deal is done. What you do now is your own affair."

With that, he and his subordinates vanished, leaving Shiki to revel in his freedom. As the warship ascended higher, the infamous prison of Impel Down became a distant speck on the horizon.

A Few Weeks after the dramatic escape from Impel Down, tranquility reigned over the largest of Golden Lion Shiki's floating islands—a vast, picturesque landscape of lush greenery, majestic cliffs, and idyllic castles suspended in the heavens. Standing on the expansive open-air platform of his castle, a stark contrast to the chaos that always followed Shiki.

On a vast open-air platform atop his castle, Shiki surveyed his domain with a rare sense of satisfaction.

"Indigo, how much of the Fury Potion do we have left?" Shiki asked, his voice calm but brimming with purpose.

Indigo, the eccentric scientist dressed in his signature white coat, bowed slightly before replying, "A substantial amount, Captain. Production has been uninterrupted, and we've stored enough in the medicinal pool. However," he hesitated, "the ferocious beasts on the islands are dwindling. At most, there are around two hundred left."

"Then go and find more!" Shiki snapped, a sharp edge returning to his voice. "We need to strengthen our forces for the next phase of—huh?"

His words trailed off abruptly as his sharp eyes caught an unnatural shift in the skies above.

Dark clouds, dense and foreboding, began to blanket the heavens. They spread unnaturally fast, blotting out the sun and plunging the island into an ominous twilight. A low, reverberating hum filled the air, growing louder with each passing second.

"What in the hell is that?" Shiki muttered, his voice tinged with disbelief as he stared at the expanding shroud. Beyond the swirling black clouds, a massive silhouette seemed to stir—a shape so vast that it defied comprehension.

Then, it happened.

From within the black abyss above, a piercing radiance erupted. Blinding beams of light, as brilliant as the sun, rained down with devastating precision. Each beam struck like divine wrath incarnate, obliterating Shiki's floating islands in a cascade of cataclysmic explosions.

Boom!

Shiki's floating islands stood no chance.

The first beam struck with a deafening roar, shattering one of the smaller islands into fragments. Before Shiki or Indigo could react, a dozen more rays of destruction rained down, obliterating every structure, every creature, and every inch of land they touched. The explosions were cataclysmic—bright as miniature suns, roaring with the force of creation undone.

Shiki's castle, the crown jewel of his empire, disintegrated in an instant. The shockwaves rippled outwards, annihilating his remaining floating strongholds. The sky itself seemed to weep as fiery debris rained down.

The beams didn't stop at the islands. Their ferocious energy plunged into the sea below, carving out an enormous aquatic void. The waters of the Grand Line recoiled violently, dragged downward into the abyss left by the attack. For a moment, an eerie silence hung in the air as if the world itself held its breath.

Then the ocean roared back with unimaginable fury.

A tsunami hundreds of meters tall erupted from the impact site. The monstrous wave surged outward in all directions, a wall of liquid destruction that moved with unrelenting speed and power. Entire ecosystems within the Grand Line were eradicated in seconds.

The first to bear the brunt of this apocalyptic wave was the City of Water, Water 7.

The infamous Aqua Laguna, an annual calamity that the city had learned to endure, paled in comparison to this monstrous surge. The tsunami loomed over the city like a god of vengeance, its shadow swallowing everything in its path. When it crashed upon Water 7, it wasn't just the lower levels that were destroyed—the entire city was reduced to rubble, swept away by an unrelenting torrent.

Ships anchored miles away were capsized like toys. Trade routes vanished beneath the roiling waters. The devastation extended far beyond Water 7, with the tsunami rippling toward other islands, carrying with it an ominous message: the wrath of an ancient weapon had been unleashed.

Panic-stricken citizens screamed as they fled, many unable to escape the towering waves that reduced their home to rubble. The sound of crashing water, collapsing structures, and anguished cries merged into a symphony of despair. For those who had witnessed the Aqua Laguna year after year, this was no mere storm—it was the end of the world.

Back at the center of the devastation, the blackened sea bubbled with steam from the energy's residual heat. What remained of the floating islands was nothing more than ash and scattered debris. The heavens seemed to mock the destruction, clearing the dark clouds to reveal a serene, azure sky. The juxtaposition was chilling, a cruel reminder of the apocalyptic power that had just been unleashed.

Somewhere in that apocalyptic maelstrom, the legendary pirate had been erased, along with his dreams of dominion.

And high above, the storm's ominous clouds began to dissipate, leaving behind a chilling clarity in the sky—a cruel, unfeeling witness to the annihilation below.

Golden Lion Shiki—feared pirate, legendary tactician—was gone, reduced to nothing in the face of an Ancient Weapon's unimaginable wrath. The world would feel the ripples of this destruction.
