Nothing was heard, but the piercing cry of the man. His knee was bleeding, body trembling like he was having a seizure. 

"Painful isn't it?" I asked, drawing a deep breath. "If you will just tell us the truth, Mr. Romero, we'll let you go. There would be no need for this pain. We don't want anything from you, just…Olive."

"You're just gonna kill him!" Romero screamed at me. 

I shook my head at him. "No we won't." 

"Liar!" His eyes were bulging out of his head at this point. "You'll kill him! I know you will." 

"And I'm telling you that we won't." I spoke to him as calmly as possible. "I just want to have a little talk with Olive, I have got some questions, so let me know where he is." 

The man still wouldn't talk. And I filled the pistol with another bullet, positioning it at his his right kneecap. "Ten,"
