After the written exam came a short break, followed by the practical exam. Each student was divided by their chosen discipline.

Rest would be participating in the Magic Department's exam. Following the examiner's instructions, he moved to the training grounds, where roughly a hundred other students had gathered.

"Ho ho ho! Now then, we shall begin the practical exam for the Magic Department!" A regal-looking old man in an elegant robe greeted them. His long white beard hung down to his chest, though his bald head gleamed in the sunlight. He appeared to be over seventy years old but stood straight and exuded an air of vitality.

"My name is Verloid Haan. I am the headmaster of this academy," the elderly man introduced himself.

"Verloid Haan... The Headmaster himself?! And a Sage!" one of the students gasped in shock.
