As the last surviving member of his team, the duty of delivering the news to the families fell on Shitsuya.
Walking in the Nara clan grounds many Nara clan members with their signature pineapple hairstyles looked at him.
Ignoring their looks Shitsuya arrived Infront of a large house in the middle of the clan and knocked twice on the door.
A few moments passed before a blonde haired woman opened the door and looked down at him with puzzlement.
Good morning, sorry to disturb you but may I speak with the clan leader It's an important matter.
The woman glanced at the leaf headband hanging loosely around Shitsuya's neck before nodding and letting him in.
After informing the Nara clan leader about Shikane's fate he sighed and spoke, "Shikane was a good friend of mine and a capable Shinobi, unfortunately, other than you I'm afraid everyone else close to him already departed a long time ago."
Shitsuya nodded and said, "I understand, I hope Sensei can be happy in the afterlife."
'I'm not enjoying it much myself but he might get lucky.'
The Nara clan leader nodded and sighed before speaking, "His house will be vacated soon, you should go visit it, you can take anything there, it's what Shikane would have wanted."
'Why not just give me the whole house then?' Shitsuya thought before thanking the clan leader and excusing himself.

Shitsuya searched Shikane's house thoroughly, he was a chunin who had been a ninja for almost 20 years so Shitsuya was confident he would have something worthwhile hidden in his house.
Sure enough, after using his Sharingan, Shitsuya found a hidden compartment in the floor, opening it he found a large scroll.
Opening the scroll, it only contained a large list of names, Shikane's name was amongst them, written in dried blood.
Noticing another familiar name, the corners of Shitsuya's mouth rose upwards in a rare smile.
Closing the scroll, Shitsuya stored it inside another scroll before leaving Shikane's home.

Entering Hana's apartment, Shitsuya started looking around. As Hana was an orphan who lived alone in a rented apartment he had no one to enform of her passing so he just broke into her home to take anything valuable she had.
Hana seemed to be flat broke however, even her fridge was empty.
She had a few scrolls containing some low grade wind Jutsu but Shitsuya had already copied them from her using his Sharingan.
Other than that he only found her diary which held a suspicious level of focus on describing her admiration for other girls around the village and her desire to lick their curvy bodies.
Throwing the diary aside, Shikane moved towards the hardest target of today.
Unlike Hana and Shikane who were both orphans with no one to care about their deaths.
Naga's parents and sister were both alive and well.
Entering the Hyuga clan, Shitsuya ignored the multiple white eyed gazes that stared at him intensely.
'The Uchiha, Hyuga rivalry is real.'
Arriving Infront of a small house, Shitsuya took a deep breath before knocking.

Shitsuya stared at the setting sun in the horizon, staining the sky with it's orange hue.
As predicted Naga's family was the hardest to handle as upon delivering the news, both Naga's mother and younger sister burst into tears as his father turned violent and started smashing the house.
Before Shitsuya could slip away he was grabbed by Naga's father who forced him to recount every detail of the story over and over before they all gradually calmed down and Shitsuya was allowed to leave.
On his way back Shitsuya ran into Minato. Minato invited Shitsuya to some Dango and Shitsuya agreed.
After Shitsuya became a ninja, he and Minato hung out a lot less. Shitsuya still had a lot of use for Minato in the future so he wanted to embed deep roots of affection in his heart until Minato couldn't reject any of his future requests.
Speaking of Minato's heart, Shitsuya was most concerned with a certain tomato haired girl who appeared in the village recently.
Shitsuya saw her a few times, most of the time she was beating up other kids who made fun of her hair.
'Should I prevent her from getting close to Minato?' Shitsuya thought.
As his future wife she would certainly hold a greater place in Minato's heart than Shitsuya could ever reach.
If in the future, he asked Minato to do something for him and Kushina disagreed, it could impaire his plans.
'I can't let anyone stand in my way.' Shitsuya thought as he made the decision to deal with Kushina before she became an issue.
"So Minato, anything interesting happen in the academy since I left." Shitsuya asked casually while using the Dango stick to pick his teeth.
Minato hurriedly nodded and swallowed the Dango in his mouth before talking.
"Yeah, ever since you graduated, everyone's been saying that you cheated and didn't deserve to graduate."
Shitsuya smiled, currently being known as cheater was better than being known as a genius although he doubted those in power would be affected by such rumours.
"What about you, any girls in your class you like?" Shitsuya said while facepalming himself mentally for having to ask a question like that of a 6 year old.
His face turned grim as he watched Minato's face turn red.
'I'll have to make my move soon.'

Elsewhere in the Hokage building, Hiruzen read through the reports sent regarding Shitsuya's mission.
Scratching his chin he pondered on what he should do with Shitsuya, there were no teams he could assign him to.
He could promote him to a chunin he certainly had the skills to qualify for such a thing but that would cause dissatisfaction amongst the ranks of genin and chunin.
Instead of using Shitsuya for combat, Hiruzen saw a far better use for him as a spy.
Shitsuya although a ninja was still only 7 years old.
Someone of his wouldn't draw much suspicion wherever he was placed.
