Capítulo 45: Bonds are broken

Rose had safely dropped Asher to his house. She had planned how to steer the conversation when she met Grant during the car ride. She had this whole scenario made up in her head. She had this habit because she didn't want to face unknown choices and results. She knew that she couldn't control the way things worked or how they affected her but she still wanted to try. It was a habit she formed when she came to live in the human world.

Before, she used to work really hard. Because she wasn't as talented in magic as others, she had to put in more effort.

But after coming to the human world, she found that she could easily use her magic. She wanted to keep feeling that feeling of awareness you have when you perform a magic spell. It was something she had never known before. She had seen how her genius brother performed expert-level spells on the first try.
