Just then, the desserts arrived. Madisyn had ordered a tiramisù, a sweet reminder of the previous day, while Belle opted for a slice of strawberry cheesecake. The rich aroma of espresso and the sweetness of strawberries filled the air, making the café feel like a warm haven.
