"Shit! Just where is she? The school is about to start, but Lisa is nowhere to be found! Maybe I should look for her…but what are you doing here? Don't you have a class to be in?"

Emma Rose, the alpha of her clan, looked at the calm figure beside her.

Nick Lawrence was the reason she had to wait out here like this. She could not allow this man to get to her chosen mate.

"Hmm, I am here for the same reason you are. Don't forget - you are not the only one who has a claim on Lisa. I have a much bigger claim since I've known her for longer. So, you should clear the way out for me."
