Zuri didn't know what she expected to see here, but then her eyes fell on the man, who was hanging from a tree with a piece of wood as his foothold. She immediately understood this was a scene that she shouldn't have seen.

She was still in her beast form. At first, they didn't realize that Zuri was there, because her beast was black. It helped her merge with the darkness so well. But the moment they realized their alpha's attention was distracted and they followed his line of sight, the six of them shifted into their beasts immediately.

Out of instinct, the black beast dashed away from there, she ran as fast as her paws could take her. All of her senses told her that she was in great danger. And if she didn't manage to get away from this situation, she was going to die.
