Capítulo 38: THE KING WITHOUT QUEEN

Zuri woke up for the midnight prayer and found a few blood stains on the bed, but it wasn't her blood. Unlike usual, she felt less pain too.

Her finger was tracing the bloodstains when Xaden walked toward her and kissed her neck. "That's my blood, you clawed my back when I gave you pleasure." He smiled against her skin, seemingly proud because he could drive her insane. "See? I told you, you just need to practice."

Zuri turned her head to look at him and met him in the eyes. It was not him that she imagined thrusting into her a few hours ago, but she wouldn't tell him that.

"We need to go now," Xaden said, he kissed her lip and caressed her breast lightly, teasing her.

"We need to go," Zuri said, as she broke the kiss and pushed him away from her. Xaden chuckled to see her reaction. He didn't take offense, because he thought his mate was just being shy.

"I should mark you again."
