Capítulo 88: Qin Zhu & Wang Lu's Discussion!(I)
"Thoughts affect reality! I'm I really supposed to focus on visualisation of a mountain and clouds! That doesn't seem right at all.
Even in the real world for clouds to form there has to be logic. Right! Logic!" Wang Lu had gained some insights and at the same time had a goal to pursue in the short term.
"Let's try and attain cloud and mountain intersection as the link to crushing through the heavenly gate!" He thought about it, and it felt far more acceptable.
Just like that he entered the state of meditation in his Qi sea space until morning.
When he opened his eyes it was already morning and he felt refreshed all over, as for the pain that was always afflicting his body, it had faded by a lot.
His spirit seemed to have stopped facing the deterioration.
As Wang Lu was lost in thought about his discovery, this voice of someone coming his way made him lift his eyes head.
"Brother! Mom asked me to bring you over!" As it turned out it was Wang Yue. But what she said was what attracted his attention the most.
"Oh! Did she tell you why she wanted me to go over?" He asked as he stood up.
Obviously he was just asking for the sake of asking. How dare he question the empress. That would be seeking trouble. Even his father was honest, let alone him.
Even Wang Yue was impressed by her brother's antiques. She couldn't help but admire his actions. As he asked this kind of question, he was already on the move.
She had some fear toward that woman too. But she couldn't explain the source of that fear.
He was just about to ruffle her hair, as she retreated fast. But to her suprise, the distance between her head and the hand didn't reduce in the slightest.
She could feel that she was not trapped in place, rather Wang Lu was able to keep up without any sign of movement. But that was just her illusion, Wang Lu was just faster than her.
In the end, she could only helplessly watch as the hand ruffled her hair, and then Wang Lu said, "When you are not crawling perhaps you can escape this fate."
He was clearly looking down on her speed, and even likened it to crawling. But that was the truth, in his eyes the speed of other body forging expert. Wang Yue was an exception because she practiced the Nameless Scripture and thus stronger by a lot.
It wasn't before long that the two arrived near a small courtyard. It had a rather pleasant scent.
That was not what Wang Lu felt though. The moment he walked in this place, he felt as though he had entered a completely different space. Perhaps Wang Yue couldn't feel it, but he could clearly feel a familiar sensation.
He had felt this way when he left the Wang clan territory of the Wang clan. It is was also the same feeling when he trained his combat at Wei Lin's place with those creatures she has kept captive.
"Sit!" Qin Zhu said with a smile.
She actually was always very easy going with Wang Lu. This was something Wang Chen couldn't understand. It was no wonder Wang Lu was always obedient before her. Even Wang Yue was slightly unable to comprehend this.
She felt her brother was far crafty than her, making it difficult to understand why Qin Zhu was not as strict with him, little did she know that when Wang Lu was her age, he would occasionally get Qin Zhu to get her some travel Journals.
She on the other hand was a trouble maker that she would often get punished as such she liked to escape and spend time in Wang Lu's residence.
She had a respectful expression and Wang Lu found it amusing. But he didn't seem to dwell on it, rather he was more interested in what Qin Zhu wanted to tell him. He talks to her at least once a week, and thus he was more interested in what she wanted to say.
"Your friends paid you a visit yesterday right?" She asked with a smile.
"Yeah! I guess you are the one that showed them my new place, or they wouldn't have been able to locate it!" Wang Lu replied with a smile too.
He knew exactly what she wanted to know. But he could only let her ask, after all he wanted to hear more of her opinion.
"What do you think about what they told you?" She asked.
"I think visiting the wilderness is a good idea, only, I'm not sure it is a good idea for the two of us to appear out of the Zhen City anytime soon. After all those guys from the Senluo Hall almost killed us last time, how could they miss such a good chance." Wang Lu raised his concerns.
But that was not his only worry, after all from what he had learned those from different factions were also in attendance. How could the Wang clan not have enemies.
This would clearly become a problem, and he was not sure if the chances mentioned by Wang Xingyue really did exist in those Ruins.
It was acceptable if the risks were proportional to the rewards.
"Oh! You actually are thinking of taking Little Yue with you?" Qin Zhu asked this.
When Wang Yue heard this, some happy expression appeared on her nervous face, but it soon froze hearing how Wang Lu replied, "I'm not sure yet?"
Wang Yue indeed wanted to beat someone up, as tried to pinch him so that he could reorganize his words again. Her eyes had the same thought, "Brother! This lady is giving you a chance to reorganize your words carefully!"
Even though she didn't say it, he could be able to tell from her look. But he ignored her and continued.
"Oh! What is it that is troubling you?" She asked out of curiosity.
"Well! Mom! How many enemies does the Wang clan have? Other than the dangers in the wilderness, the ruins themselves might not be a safe place. More importantly, I don't know the situation inside at all? Can you give me some information about this and perhaps I can be able to gauge wether it is worth risking our lives just to enter the ruins?" Wang Lu was very straightforward with this question.
He even didn't forget to call Qin Zhu mom, in case she forgot he was her son, and withheld some information.
As if she could see through his thoughts, she couldn't help but giggle slightly. She found her son more amusing with how he handled things. But she could feel that her husband hidden in the domain was feeling more and more uneasy, almost about to show up.
"Okay! I'll give you some information." She looked at her son with appreciation in her eyes. Most people Wang Lu's age were so eager to jump into the ruins just because it was an opportunity. He was able to calm down, even though the place might have a way to settle his biggest problem.
