Capítulo 56: FALLEN ANGEL

Up here the heat was even more unbearable. It scorched his flesh, smiting his mind and thoughts to leaking sweat. 

But Caspian still held on. Letting go would lead to nothing but a painful death. 

As he flayed about in the air, he couldn't help but recall the nights he spent contemplating whether to drop himself off the roof of the mansion. The thing that made him reconsider was never the fear of falling. In fact, he had felt the fear that came with standing dozens of meters above ground, mostly because he had never known what that view looked like. 

Now that he did the last thing he wanted was to fall.

Falling from this height wouldn't kill him instantly but the damage done to his muscles and bone would be irreparable. 

So he held on. This time not because of a girl's scent, but because of the questions he had for her. 

So he held on. His small arms tangled between the callusing surface of Trevor's rope.
