Robert walk and stand directly in front of the ball, after reaching the ball as big as him, he raised his sword and slash the ball cutting it into two pieces.
After the ball was destroyed, Robert was engulf with light and teleported to the second floor.
"He popped it." Yuri said.
"Yes, he did, and now he went up..." Evan murmured but he is surprise that Robert didn't need to ignite his weapon to pop the ball only casual swing.
"Come on, Evan, We have to hurry to the florr of tests!" Yuri turned around and continue her way to the second floor. Evan let out a sigh, he said goodbye to headon and walk with yuri to the second floor.
"A new player just enter the game. I wonder what change he will bring in this tower." Headon asked with a smirk while facing other direction. "Interesting isn't it, Miss Rachel?"
Tower of God, Second Floor
Robert lay on the ground with his eyes closed, until his eyelieds began to move because of the bright light. After he open his eyes, he look at his sorrounding.
He looked out over the vast expanse of wheat fields and rugged terrain. 'This place really looks exactly the same like in the manhwa.' He began to stand up gripping his Zantetsuken.
In the sky above, a collosal ship floated, emblazoned with the name "Evankhell." Directly below it, a cube-like object buzzed around, it's purpose is unknown. He knew the tests on this floor is perilous, but he had to participate if he want to ascend higher.
Suddenly, a man's voice echoed through the wheat field. "Mic test! Mic test! One, two, three!" He shouted. "Hello everyone! All the Regulars who have made it to the Tower, we sincerely welcome all of you to the 2nd Floor, Evankhell's Floor. It is also called 'The Floor of Test' because here we carry out the final test to see whether you are qualified to go up the Tower."
He listened carefully as the man explained the first test. "There are 400 regulars here. Narrow it down to 200. Try every means possible, and the test ends when the number of regulars reaches 200. Begin!"
As soon as the girl finished speaking, sounds of battle and screams could be heard, and the smell of blood filled the air.
"AAAAGGGHHH!"
An anghuised scream suddenly sounded out from the distance, confirming his suspicions.
'Right we were supposed to kill each other!' Robert thought as he ran to find someone to kill.
He ran around the field as he heard people screaming everywhere he ran, suddenly, he noticed a shinsu flow from behind, like something was coming straight at him from a hill 500m away. He easily dodged it by tilting his head and looked at the hill to see who attacked him.
It was a man with a bow wearing a cape.
He had green skin and sharp teeth. "Hehehe, let's see how you dodge this." He shouted from there and took another arrow ready to launch.
But before he could attack him again, a golden lightning laser pierced his head. "Lightning spear!" Robert said, as he saw the number in his pocket reduce from 375 to 374.
After a few seconds, he realized that he had taken someone's life. He recalled that this wasn't the first time he had killed someone, but he felt no remorse. It may have been because of his new body or his view of everything and everyone as just part of the story. However, one thing he knew for sure was that his previous world's morality and principles about life wouldn't let him survive the test floor, let alone reach the top.
"Screw morals and principles, I will built morals and principles by living them." He concluded his thoughts and then began searching for two teammates for the next test.
Robert scoured the area, observing countless familiar figures in action, such as a humanoid crocodile chasing down two individuals, a lizard-like girl, and a swordsman in combat.
Suddenly, a group of four people lunged at him, Robert to use his Zantetsuken skills on them, he cut their bodies to several pieces with lightning speed and ultimately resulting in their deaths. In total, Robert ended up killing 17 people in this manner.
Soon, the time limit ended, and a familiar voice spoke. "Everyone stay where you are! The first test is over now. Any Regulars fighting from now on will be eliminated!"
"To the 200 Regulars who passed the test, congratulations to all of you."
"It may seem a bit rushed, but a short second test will be carried out right away," the voice continued. "Your second test is simple: find two Regulars to be your teammates."
"We are giving you five minutes time limit! If you don't make a team in five minutes, you are eliminated!"
"To be considered a team, you need to be touching some part of your teammate's bodies when the time limit is over! Good Luck!"
Robert didn't hesitate and gone all out this time in his search. After 3 minutes of searching, he found a boy with green hair sleeping with a blanket covered and another boy next to him with brown skin and blonde hair. He wore a kimono with red trimmings, and the most noteworthy thing was a horn protruding from the right side of his head.
'Is that Ho and Laure?, How lucky I am.' Robert quickly ran towards their direction.
"Can I join you guys? I'm Robert Universe." Robert introduced himself asked upon reaching them. He saw a girl with dark hair running in their direction from 200m away so he is rather quick to occupy the 3rd slot in the team.
"My name is Ho, and in fact, I also had the same intention as you when I came here to ask him to be my teammate, but as you can see, he is sleeping," the blonde guy replied while smiling wryly.
"Oh, let's look for someone else then." Robert replied, knowing well that the sleeping guy could hear him and would join them because of his laziness to search for new teammates within 2 minutes.
As he guessed, the sleepyhead opened his eyes and sat up. "I'm in, and don't disturb me while I'm sleeping." He spoke without blinking. His focus is rather on Robert, the reason being unknown.
"You can call me Laure." He continued while yawning.
Roberg and Ho sat beside Laure, who had gone back to his dream. They touched his hair as he slept, annoyed. Two minutes passed in silence except for the snore coming from Laure. The second test finally came to an end with a loud shout echoing around the field.
"The second test is over!"
"The three people holding onto each other at this moment are considered a team. You will be sent to the next test spot."
Robert and the rest, who were holding onto their teammates, heard this loud shout after the girl spoke and the next instant, they were teleported to 'Evankhell's Mothership', the next test point.
Inside Evankhell's Mothership, a large room had been set up to gather all the regulars who had passed the second test. Robert and Ho stood at the front of the crowd, checking on the other regulars who had been transported to the same room. Laure, however, was still sleeping.
As they observed their fellow regulars, Ho remarked to Sasuke, "Everybody looks powerful and ferocious, don't you think, Mr. Robert?"
Before Robert could reply, a commotion erupted in the crowd. A dark-skinned, red- haired guy was shouting and grabbing the collar of a black-haired boy. "Did you see what you did to my arm?" he yelled, clearly agitated.
It was clear that the dark-skinned, red-haired guy had initiated a fight with the black-haired boy for his lost arm.
"I don't know. Maybe you can buy a stick and attach it to your arm." The black haired boy eplied nonchalantly.
"What, you jerk!" just when the red-haired guy was about to burst and attack the black- haired boy,
" I don't mean to interrupt. Fighting is prohibited during the break." A voice suddenly interrupted their quarrel.
"And who the hell are you? "questioned, the red-haired boy in an irritated tone.
"It'a very kind of you to ask, I'm your Test Administrator Leoro Ro. " a tall blonde-haired guy wearing a black and white outfit walked into the elevated platform and introduced himself.
"An Administrator? Then you are an R-Ranker!" Asked the red-haired guy while stuttering.
"Yes I'm a Ranker of the Tower." Leoro Ro replied while smiling.
After he confirmed this, the red-haired guy and the crowd calmed down while some started gossiping among themselves.
All this happening, but Robert had his entire focus on a team little near him. It is the team of Baam. He had an idea of having a conversation with him, but gave up in the middle because of a second thought, like why would he?
'I need to keep this guy in check to at least pass the test floor' he thought, while giving a side glance to Ho, his teammate. Then he turned his focus on the test administrator on stage.
After giving everyone a movement to calm down Leoro Ro continued,
"Before I explain the next round, Let me give you a brief information about myself, I'm your test Administrator, Ranker Leoro Ro. Nice to meet chu!"
Seeing the ranker greet them while attempting to imitate a 'cute voice', the gathered regulars sent him weird glances and cringed
"Meet chu?!"
"What the hell!"
Lero ro was unperturbed by these reactions and excitedly proclaimed. "Now that you had some time to rest let's move on to the next test but before that, there will be a pretest. Those who don't pass the Pretest cannon take the next test " he said all this while smiling.
"What?"
"That means... it is another elimination test!"
"What is he testing?"
"Haha relax it's a simple pretest " Leoro Ro laughed while forming a blue Round ball in his hand with Shinsoo. After that, he pushed it in front of him to create a huge Tsunami wave that covered half of the room and pushed all the Regulars back forcefully.
"Arrgh!"
"Uhh!"
"Argh, What the hell is this?"
Very few were able to resist among the Regulars, among them was a blue-haired boy with a briefcase. "Is this... shinsoo?" He mumbled while struggling to not get pushed back.
"My! Aren't you perceptive " praised Lero Ro, while pushing the Shinsu a little harder. With this, every single Regular has been pushed to the very back, and a Blue Shinsu wall formed in front of them.
With a little smirk, he explained. "Shinsu is the source of the entirety of Tower's Power. It is everywhere in the tower and all of us can breathe, thanks to this water, you see before us. "
"Everyone within the tower uses this water to fight, in combat situations. Any team that successfully passes through this wall, without succumbing to the Shinsoo's strength passes! Everyone else remaining on the other side fails."
At the end of his speech, Lero Ro's voice gradually trailed off as he noticed that one Regulars were actually not pushed out at all. Baam remained standing in place as if nothing happened.
As Lero Ro stared at Baam, a ghastly expression formed on his face as if he had seen something unholy.
With the attention that he was receiving, Baam looked back at Lero Ro somewhat awkwardly. "Did I do something Wrong?, I'm sorry, I will go back." Baam said to Lero ro as he goe back to his team nervously.
"Ahem, No, You have pass." Lero ro said while coughing.
"What!" A guy wearing a purple sports outfit shouted.
"That's absurd, he is just lucky." A man with a sniper, wearing a green cloak protested along.
"Perhaps it's just a mistake but that could count as Luck, One of the most needed assets you need to climb the tower is Luck." Leoro Ro mockingly looked at the Sniper man and continued. "The luck to be born with high Shinsu resistance, rich, smart, and able to save yourself and your teammates from death."
"The only reason you got this far is that you were lucky. And you say that's absurd? Stop jabbering and take the test, You Regulars!" Leoro Ro mocked all those who protested. But only he knows what he is thinking inside his head.
'From where in the tower do this little monsters arrive?' He thought while squinting at Baam, who came near him.
Robert looking at Baam near Lero ro sigh in relief, he knew about this test. Basicly all regulars need to go through the shinsoo wall to pass the test. When Lero ro was going to push all of the regulars, he quickly move back searching for his team and stand beside them and pretend like he was also pushed back. He didn't want to get any wanted attention and he didn't want to get a spotlight.
'I should wait for others to pass the Shinsoo wall!' Robert waited for the others to pass the shinsoo wall then he will make his move.
