Capítulo 104: Sunlight

Lucian's eyes snapped open, his body tingling with an electric current of newfound power. The taste of Valentina's blood lingered on his tongue, sweet and intoxicating. He sat up abruptly, running his hands over his arms, feeling the surge of energy coursing through his veins.

"Incredible," he whispered, flexing his fingers. The room seemed sharper, colors more vivid. Even the air felt different against his skin.

Lucian's mind raced with possibilities. Could it be? Had Valentina's blood truly changed him? There was only one way to find out.

He approached the heavy curtains covering his bedroom window, heart pounding with anticipation and fear. His hand trembled as he reached for the thick fabric.

"What if it doesn't work?" he thought. "What if I burst into flames the moment sunlight touches me?"

But he had been studying about faerie blood, and it was supposed to make the light more tolerable.
